Argh, this hat is dealing me fits. I've frogged twice as well. The worst part is when I screw up and need to unknit, I can't figure out how to recreate my increased stitches (using the bar increase), since they fall apart when I unknit, so I have to start over.
Any suggestions for a different increase method or unknitting the bar increase?
Ok guys, I've read through this thread and I'm still confused! I'm a moderately experienced knitter, I can knit with dpn and on circulars etc etc.
So...is there a reason to use this method except when making small tubes (like for gloves)?
I'm making my bazillionth I-pod Mini cozy and I want to do a Fair Isle pattern using three colors (which I can do on bigger projects). This seems like a situation where the double sided stockinette could come in handy, but it seems a little too complicated for Fair Isle. Is it worth trying?
