she is really cute. i just had to make red satin bra and undies for my daughters doll and i felt kind of weird about it at first.
but she justified it by saying, well you made her a baby and if you have a baby you need a bra right?Huh
kids are so funny.

much better than i could have done.

i want to know more about gnome math! i home school my daughter and math is becoming a weak point because i don't feel motivated by the boring math books we have. i really like the idea of Waldorf schools. unfortunately we don't have one around here. so Ive just got to do it myself  Grin

the dolls are loved for all ages. i made a floppy bodied one for my cousins baby and her 15 year old sister loved it so much i had to make her a purple haired punk rock version!

they're quite dear. I like the kitty's collar & the girl's pink hair.

I remember being 7 & telling my mom I'm really a kitty, then telling my cousins I had "three and a half" cats.

(psst.. I'm 17 & I still think I'm really a kitty. ^^)

thats why i always tell my daughter that i believe she is half cat when she asks, maybe she really is.. Smiley

the pattern can be bought for about $5 at www. magiccabin.com
if you really want to make one, you should buy the pattern. its a lot of fun.
it is pretty complicated, so a tute would take me days to write and i just dont have the time Wink

thanks! the material for both of them was from old tee-shirts. they are the first ones i made and i didnt have a problem getting the heads right. they each took me about a day and a half to complete.

i used to have one when i was a kid, i dont remember when i stopped "seeing" him.

That is such a great inspiration! I'm looking to jazz up two lamps when I'm going to have two weeks free in August to do crafts, and I'll be thinking about this one when I get to my project! Please put up a tutorial when you have the chance!

i was having a hard time getting my act together to do this tutorial, but i saw this post and was like "oh, no.. i'd better do it now!
its funny what will motivate me! i hope you can try it out in august. Wink
