1  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Discussion and Questions / mine dont last on: July 29, 2005 11:59:17 AM
sometimes after i stencil and it goes through the wash it starts to look all funny.  its not really faded, just cheap looking.  it doesnt happen all the time but when it does, it feels like such a waste.  is it how i wash it (the temperature)? how thick i put on the fabric paint?  how long i iron it?  i cant seem to figure it out.  please help with any suggestions.  thanks
2  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / help onlace up top (corset style) on: July 29, 2005 11:53:45 AM
im almost done making this really pretty shirt (actually its a reconstruction, but hte reconstruction part is done) and it laces up in the back kind of like a corset but there is a panel still under the lacing part (if that makes sense) and while its laced up the under panel bulges at the top and bottom, is there a way to stop this or do i have to cut out the panel completely?

thanks

btw is it safe to say that for the most part reconstructions are already used/worn???

5  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Discussion and Questions / photoshop help on: March 21, 2005 01:18:04 PM
i dont know if anyone has asked this before, and if they have my mistake, but how do you turn a regular pic or image into a stencil on photoshop?  everyone says its super easy but i havent quite perfected it yet and i wanna know if there is an easy way to just transform things into awesome stencils.

i was thinking about trying it with this pic

someone already made it into this, but it isnt flat so i dont know how to use it
