These are the yarn I scored when I was in Queensland Australia… Glitz (Heirloom) and Moonlight (Patons). I wanted to make a fun poncho out of them, having decided what patterns to use yet. What do you think I should do with them? I got 2 skeins each of these yarns!

Oh yeaaaaa babbbbyyy!!!! I’m finally done with the shimmer shrug, I’ve been knitting tinking, knitting tinking for MONTHS on this shurg. The lace pattern decreases kicked my butt… But at last it’s complete and I’m wearing it proudly, this is my very first completed ‘wearable’ knitting well besides all the scarfs I made since I was little hehee.

I'm knitting a baby layette for my good friend's daughter... Got a really cute pattern from Bernat, but heck I can't get past row 2 

Desperate help needed please from all you experts, the second row calls for a repeat of what I counted as 17 stitches. In order to make it work, I need 190 stitches for the repeat section of the pattern or am I totally off here? I did see that the pattern says 184 sts at the end of row 4, is that counting all the stitches or just for the repeat? if 184 is my total stitches what happened to the 20 extra stitches from 204 that I casted on?

I got the lace weight Shimmers yarn from knit picks.. I have done lots of searches on a shrug/poncho/wrap pattern that I can tackle, but haven't had any luck. I'm looking for lacey patterns, could you please recommend one that a newbie like me can handle?

I will be taking a trip soon and want to take a simple project with me on the plane, any recommendations for that?
