@Patraw - WICKED awesome job!!! We must collaborate again. That is fantastic!

So I received this fantastic card from blupaisan last week for my theme "illustrated dictionary entry" and she did a fantastic card for me!!

She selected the word "ethnomusicology" noun - the study of the music of different cultures, especially non-Western ones.

I love it, blu!! Truly a word I have never heard before, and I love that so much!! Fantastic card, thank you so much!

I got the most stunning Outer Space ATC from AugustBell a week or two ago. The first one got lost in the mail or something, so she kindly made and sent another one. It's breathtaking. I could easily see this as an illustration in a children's book about outer space. It's just beautiful! Thank you so much! I treasure it! Smiley

Wow, I'm thrilled you love it so much! The first one go returned to me torn to shreds, which worked out, because this second one turned out better! Smiley

I received some great ATCs this week plus a fun bonus!

First up from LadybugsAndBumblebees - she claimed me for two cards. One for my Woodland Whimsy theme and again for my Watercolors/colored pencil theme.

Thanks, Barbara! They are so fun and colorful!!

Next from rockingbearranch, she claimed me for my theme "Famous Movie Posters Starring Cats" and she sent me TWO amazing cards, and a bonus, large flyer of one of them! Yippee!!

I *LOVE* these cards, rockingbearranch, especially KIT. T. - E.T. is one of my absolute all time favorite movies, so this card is beyond perfect. And I adore The Martian one too.

BONUS:
This awesome (I think 8x10-ish in size) post is really cool! And of course I had to tack it up on my fridge with my cat butt magnets  Cheesy

Thanks to both of you for the great cards!! I love them!

Brief Description: I made this hook for (SURPRISE) Mistress Jennie for the Flat Rate swap as well. I hope this Harry themed hook will make crocheting more exciting for her in her future projects. For this hook the base is a red aluminum hook, covered in sparkly black clay, and wrapped up with a Gryffindor scarf before adorning with Harry's glasses and scar.

9  Harry Potter Crochet Hooks in Polymer Clay: Completed Projects by AugustBell on: March 06, 2016 06:01:01 AM
I made these two crochet hooks for my friend Jennie in the Harry Potter Flat Rate Box Swap.

Every witch needs a special wand just for crafting, so I started with a wooden hook base and sculpted her her very own crafting wand!

Next I made her a hook commemorating our favorite boy wizard and his school house, Gryffindor. I used a red aluminum hook covered in a glittery black clay before wrapping the Gryffindor scarf around it, and adorning it with Harry's glasses and scar.

And naturally, a shot of the hooks together, hanging out on the crochet hook wallet I made as well.

Thanks to Jennie for letting me steal her awesome light-box photos. And thanks for looking!

10  Crochet Hook Wallet in Crochet: Completed Projects by AugustBell on: March 06, 2016 05:33:09 AM
I made this Gryffindor themed hook wallet for my sweet friend Jennie in the HP Flat Rate Box Swap. It's made with hdc stitches throughout and lined with my favorite wool felt from Benzie Design on Etsy, completed with a wooden star button. Jennie was kind enough to share the photos she took  in her fancy light-box with me.

Thanks for checking it out Smiley
