This is beautiful. I've got to get my hands on that pattern.
2  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: 'Come Sail Away' High Waisted Skirt on: March 03, 2011 05:21:04 AM
I love this skirt! I'm going to try to make a similar one TODAY!

Thanks, everyone! I love this little online community and I should have joined earlier.
5  CLOTHING / Shoes: Completed Projects / Sick Bay Slippers on: February 06, 2011 04:53:58 PM
I feel like nurse Chapel might sport these! They're a bit big and I think I could fix it if I took them apart. Meh... next time! Left the green pin in them emblem for this little photo shoot.

Thanks to papilonette for her great tutorial (http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=323205.0)

6  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Dino Dress on: February 05, 2011 12:37:59 PM
Another in a series of unseasonal attire! I made this using a childhood sheet. I didn't use a pattern or tutorial for it, and that's a first!

I'm very bad at taking photos, particularly when my boyfriend is taking them. Sorry for creepy blur-face!
7  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: Sugar Skull Summer Shirt on: February 05, 2011 03:58:36 AM
I gotta get some of that stuff.

Anyway it hides my bra very well, but I haven't actually worn it with a bra other than the one I was wearing when I fit the shirt. I placed the straps to be directly over my bra strap, but as the shirt straps are thicker than bra straps I imagine changing the bra wouldn't be a problem. I may not look it, but I'm a 34 E! (According to Intimacy, the bra fit specialists, located in Copley Place. That store is AWESOME.)
8  CLOTHING / Shoes: Discussion and Questions / I'd love to make these shoes, but could I use something other than leather? on: February 04, 2011 12:01:12 PM
http://earthandliving.blogspot.com/2008/08/viking-shoes-tutorial-sort-of.html

These viking shoes would make kick-a slippers, I think. I've never tried to make shoes of any sort, though. Do you think I could make them using heavy felt instead of leather? I have no leather working tools and it seems intimidating. Also I just want them as house shoes.

Bag Balm, eh? The stuff with the cow print? I'll give it a whirl. Thanks!
10  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Re: Why are dress forms so... flat? on: February 03, 2011 03:11:16 PM
Thank you! I do have a strapless bra I can get rid of, as it is super painful to wear. Perfect!
