has anyone gotten 'heartfelt' by kim hargreaves yet?! you need to. i just got the book 2 days ago and i did the bonnie pattern.



i used yarn bee's sweet delight in sidewalk. the only mod i did was to knit in the round. i'm loving this hat. right now in texas it's cold in the mornings and then warms up by the afternoon. but with the lace i can still wear it even when it does get a little warmer!

i knit this last night in just two hours. that's including the time it took sew in the ends too! this pattern is called pilot from twinkle big city knits.

this was such a quick knit. my gauge was a little different so i had to fudge around with the numbers to get it just right. but it was really easy to do that.

i finished this gorgeous sweater a couple months ago. but i'm loving this thing so much. i wear it all the time. and the pattern seems so versitile to me. like i want to make it into a pullover later. and i really like the ruffles for other stuff.

so i made my niece's holloween costume this year. it came out so dang cute. i'm still waiting for a pic from my sister though. she's pretty lazy with that sort of thing...you know, going to walmart and ordering pics can take a lot of time!

this was such a fast knit! about two days. well technically 3 days but the middle day i didn't work on it. and i know that if i had one whole day to sit and knit then i totally would've had that puppy finished!

i'm visiting my sister and family this week. my niece's  birthday was earlier this month, but since i knew i was going over there anyway, i decided to just hold on to her presents till i get there. i made her this jacket for the winter. it's a size too big, but she's still growing and they can always cuff the sleeves. it's a really pretty purple i think.

needles: size 8
yarn: 2 skiens of caron simply soft in iris
mods: i did the whole thing in one piece up to the armholes. then i did a 3 needle bind off with the shoulders. i picked up the sleeve stitches and worked down, having to decrease to the wrists.

i just finished these in time for a baby shower i have this sunday. they were so super easy to make and fast, always a good thing

i made this hat for my niece. it was hot here in texas when i tried to take the pics so she was totally not going for it.
