11  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / ravelry on: November 25, 2007 10:14:35 PM
i'm sure just about everyone knows about the great new website ravelry. it's amazing. it's a great way to network with designers, list your projects, books and needles. and...*drum roll*...share you own patterns with people! yes, i have put up my pattern there to share. it's free and i personally love it. if you have an account with them, my username is skwirel, you can look at the pattern under my projects. if you don't have it yet then you need to get one now!!!

yeah you could do a closure. just make sure you bo off very loosely! i used boucle traditions by yarn bee, an exclusive brand at hobby lobby. does it fall off? no not at all. one thing i'm going to do on my next one though is make it just as long as suggested, but to sew the seams a little more longer than suggested. it's not that it falls off but it does slip a little. i just want it more snug next time.

this was such a quick knit. my gauge was a little different so i had to fudge around with the numbers to get it just right. but it was really easy to do that.

i finished this gorgeous sweater a couple months ago. but i'm loving this thing so much. i wear it all the time. and the pattern seems so versitile to me. like i want to make it into a pullover later. and i really like the ruffles for other stuff.

this was such a fast knit! about two days. well technically 3 days but the middle day i didn't work on it. and i know that if i had one whole day to sit and knit then i totally would've had that puppy finished!
