41  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Pen Spike Bracelet---Pics are a bit large... on: August 14, 2005 08:47:00 PM
My school had a rule banning spike bracelets because they could allegedly be used as a weapon.  I argued with an administrator that they were no more dangerous than ball-point pens, and that if they were going to ban spike bracelets they should have to ban ball-point pens as well.  They took away my bracelet, so I made this replacement:

44  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: Pokemon-Card Wallet on: March 14, 2005 09:38:16 AM
I've been using it for 2 months or so now, and it's held up quite well.  The only inconvenience I've found is that the packaging-tape pockets in the front have gotten a bit dirty, but otherwise, everything is great.  I carry a good deal of odds-n-ends in it also, and it holds them well.

I used to be a pokemon fan, but I grew out of it and gave all of my cards to my brothers.  The wouldn't relinquish any of the actual characters to contribute to my wallet, so I had to make it out of energy cards, but I'm okay with this.  There are pockets on the inside made out of packaging tape.

46  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / pattern hat on: March 13, 2005 04:31:47 PM
This is a hat I made for my boyfriend, the black is supposed to be the Greek letter Lamda, I had to make the pattern for it myself, he's a big Half-Life fan...

Personally, I think it looks kinda weird on me, hopefully it will look better on him...
