11  Simple but snazzy ribbon scarf in Knitting: Completed Projects by StephInTheCity on: July 13, 2005 01:00:12 PM
I made this for my mom for Mother's Day and forgot to post it.  It's just garter stitch with fringes looped onto the ends, but I like the way it turned out.

I made it using Lion Brand Incredible ribbon yarn in #201 Rainbow on #15 needles instead of the recommended #13.

Here's a link to the free pattern: http://www.lionbrand.com/patterns/ki-ribbonScarf.html

12  Re: Felted Burger Soap - With Tutorial in Bath and Beauty: Completed Projects by StephInTheCity on: July 13, 2005 10:59:00 AM
I'll admit, I think felted soaps are icky (I spend so much time trying to get hair OFF the soap, you know?!), but the burger soap is way cute.  Very creative - great job!

I really hope this isn't inappropriate (someone please tell me if I should remove it), but squeaky-queen's comment reminded me of this picture someone sent me a while back, so I couldn't resist sharing.

Great job on the burger soap, yardenxanthe!

13  fuzzy vibe cozy in Knitting: Completed Projects by StephInTheCity on: June 10, 2005 03:11:00 PM
This is my first project posted on craftster, so I wanted it to be something fun.  I knit this vibrator cozy for my girlfriend out of two skeins of Bernat Boa yarn in Partridge.  It was just going to be a rectangle, but I ended up increasing at the end for the fluted-looking top.  It turned out way too big, but that just means it holds more.  Wink  I picked up the ribbon on a whim and was pleasantly suprised at how well it matched when I got it home.  What do you guys think?
