I made a Gir after visiting lanikins post here on Craftser http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=365733.0 but he needs a Piggy to ride! I decided to try my hand at doing it myself. Bear with me, Gir was my first attempt at Amigurumi, and I made up my own pattern for Piggy. I think he came out pretty good. They both occupy space on my husband's desk at work now.

My first (picture) post! (the site won't let me post a pic until I had posted 10x in the forums to prove I wasn't a spambot) I was looking for a Gir pattern, and came across yours and HAD to make it. My son's GF loves Gir, and I have never attempted Amigurumi before, so.....Here's my attempt using your pattern. I changed things a little because I couldn't find my felt. I crocheted the tongue and zipper, and I made the legs the same as the feet. Thanks for posting a great pattern.
