12  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Classic Car Keeper on: May 18, 2012 06:22:21 AM
I found a pattern for this online and loved it, so I just had to make it. It's a keepsake holder that looks like a classic car. There is a tray that comes out where you can store some small items.
This is made out of plastic canvas, and was fun to make. I hadn't ever made anything like this before, and I think it turned out great.

Thanks! It was super fast to make and it turned out quite well. I'm very happy with it.

I made this for a friend of mine as a Thank You gift. She is a big Texas Rangers fan, so I cross stitched the logo onto an iphone case and gave it to her.
I'm just glad I remembered to take a picture of it!

15  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Selling Crafts on Etsy.com / Re: list your etsy store here! on: April 04, 2012 05:41:41 AM
I do all sorts of crafts, but right now I've gotten into the cross stitch iphone cases. To get my store started, I have several of the completed ones listed right now, with plans to add some blank cases for sale as well.

The cases you can purchase blank. They usually come with a needle, instruction booklet that includes a few pattern ideas, and 3 colors of thread.
They can be bought a lot of different places. Here is one site that has them:

17  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Cross stitch iphone 4 cases on: March 19, 2012 05:27:16 AM
I've recently gotten hooked on making cross stitch iphone 4 cases. I've completed these four so far, and have patterns planned for at least four more. These are so much fun. The crazy part is... I don't even own an iphone! These are fun to make, though!

18  UNITED STATES / Oklahoma / Re: Crafting group meeting on: January 13, 2012 06:12:39 AM
Hello to all that are interested in my craft group.
I have recently moved, so I wasn't doing any craft days for a while, but now I'm all moved in and ready to go! Bring any craft that you want to work on, show off, or want to ask other people about.

The next meeting will be on Saturday, 1/28/2012 at 3:00 PM to whenever.

As always, everyone is invited, the more the merrier, so bring all your friends along as well! I'm hoping to have a great turnout this time.
If you want to come, please send me a personal message and I will give you the address. Hope to see you all there!

@fancycrafter: I got this free pattern from the Lionbrand.com website. It is called 5 1/2 hour throw. It should be easy to find and download. Enjoy!
20  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Quick and easy throw! on: September 19, 2011 07:09:25 PM
I am attending a wedding in a week and realized that I had not gotten them a gift! I found a great free pattern online and bought some nice soft yarn and made a quick throw.

I used a size Q (ugh!) crochet hook and "I love this yarn!" colors pale denim, stonewash, and dark denim. I had been wanting to try crocheting with 3 colors at once, so this was a perfect opportunity. I have already planned my next project similar to this one. It is sooo easy!
