Instead of superbowling I decided to craftster..
A great friend of the family just had a baby boy and she had asked me to make a mobile incorporating ROBOTS- his bedroom theme. This is how it turned out:

It was the most crochet pieces I've ever put together. The most detailed work I've done thus far in a crochet project! Super happy with it!
*So since I received a lot of great feedback on this project I wrote up the pattern for the striped robot which seemed to be the favorite of most. This is my first attempt at pattern writing for the public eye...
Striped Robot:
Body:
With gray make magic ring
Rnd 1: 6sc in ring
Rnd 2: Inc in each stitch space (12)
Rnd 3: 1sc, inc (18)
Rnd 4: 2sc, inc (24)
Rnd 5-9. 24sc
Rnd 10-11: Switch to blue, 2 rows 24sc
Now would be a good time to put your safety eyes on and embroider a smile!
Rnd 12-13: Switch to green, 2 rows 24sc
Rnd 14-15: Switch to blue, 2 rows 24sc
Switch to green:
Rnd 16: 24sc
Rnd 17: 2sc, dec (18)
Rnd 18: 1sc, dec (12)
Stuff!
Rnd 19: dec all around to 6 stitches
Bind off and sew up hole!
Shoulder Pads (Make 2):With yellow make magic ring
Rnd 1: 6sc in ring
Rnd 2: 1sc, inc (9)
Rnd 3: 9sc
Rnd 4: 1sc, dec (6)
Bind off and leave tail for sewing to body
Arms (Make 2):With gray make magic ring
Rnd 1: 6sc in ring
Rnd 2-3: 6sc
Rnd 4: 1sc, dec (4)
Bind off and leave tail for sewing
Attach arm to shoulder and shoulder to body- no need to stuff
Feet (Make 2)With green make magic ring
Rnd 1: 6sc in ring
Rnd 2: Inc in each stitch space (12)
Rnd 3: Through back looks only 12sc
Rnd 4: 12sc
Rnd 5: Switch to gray, 1sc, dec (8 )
Rnd 6: 8sc
Bind off and leave tail for sewing to body. These I did stuff lightly.
Antenna:
With gray make magic ring
Rnd 1: 4sc in ring
Rnd 2-3: 4sc
Bind off and leave tail for sewing to top of head
Light:
With yellow make 1 bobble in magic ring- tie to end of Antenna and attach to head.
