I had a first go at cutting fabric to make a half circle skirt and realised too late that my measurements were way off and now the skirt it way to short (as in flashing my bum to everyone short).  I would like to lengthen it but have no idea how to calculate the amount of fabric I would need.  Can anyone make any suggestions?

I've just completed this heart wreath for my inside front door and I'm really please with it!!  It was a liiiiiiittle bit tedious cutting tones of circles and spirals out to make the flowers but it was all worth it in the end.  Please check my blog for more photos and please let me know what you think.

My dear boyfriend turns 30 in May and I have arranged for us to spend a couple of days in New York (woo hoo!) He doesn't know anything about this yet so I have prep'd a couple of pages of a chipboard journal to break the news and to be a space for us to record the details of the trip. 

I'm also going to be submitting this as part of my course work for a Certificate in Papercraft and this is where you guys come in.  I need feedback - good, bad or otherwise - suggestions, ideas, comments etc from you all so I can include it in my submission.

This is the first ATC I have made.  This is for a swap (again, a 1st for me!) and the theme was fairies.  I wanted something that reflected something of myself and, when I found this needle fairy I was really pleased - I do a lot of cross stitch and sewing.  I have used a real needle on the design too!
