Love the heart quilt, lovely fabrics! Ditto on that binding, must have been a challenge for sure!

Think I'm going to try the stacked coins pattern for my next quilt  Thanks edelC!! I'm intending to make one for my sister in law for her Birthday at the end of March so this will be my inspiration to get a wiggle on...

@ MareMare I hate the time hand binding takes in comparison to piecing the quilt, and the quilting - it all comes together so quickly then I get on to the hand binding and it takes me forever! It probably wouldn't be so bad if I got on and did it rather than looking at it for days on end!!

@ Krafty119 Aah thanks very much  I presented the gift this evening and little 'uns Mum seemed to really like it! And my brother in law requested one for himself with cars and women on it! Men eh 

@ amalgam I only got it done as the Birthday was looming! ha ha I don't finish anything without a deadline!

Here's quilt number 2!!
I've made this for my niece's 1st birthday (tomorrow) Made from a Tilda charm pack, scraps from my stash, and flannel on the back! Pretty pleased how it came out for my second quilt, only problem was when the cat found it with his muddy paws   I freaked right out! And it was on the clothes horse! No fear though guys, some gentle sponging got the paw prints out!!

Hi, This is my second quilt, finished just in time for my niece turning 1 tomorrow! I wanted to make her something special that her Mum would like also (or I fear it would end up in the bottom of a dark drawer! )

I made it from a charm pack called Tilda, and scrap fabrics in my stash. The backing is flannel as what little 'un can resist the feel of that!

Amalgam is right, your own spit will get rid of your own blood! Strange but true, it has to be your own though, other people's wont work! (just as well cos that would be gross!)

Hi. My Godmother recently got me into card stitching!

Quick and easy to finish, my favourite kind of project   I love the fact that you can do it sitting and watching TV and choose your threads to make them personal, and you can have a card finished in a matter of minutes!

I've got a lot of free patterns from the internet, not quite managed to make my own yet but if you're full of ideas I'm sure it's pretty easy! Here's some pictures for you!







I used pearlescent thread for the baby cards, I think it works perfectly! I like to use bold colours if my cards are destined for a man   You know what they're like! I also make Christmas cards on black cards, using lots of reds, greens and yellows for a festive look.
