I made this for my coworker for her birthday, she loved it!  I almost didn't give it to her because I liked it so much too!

I just made it up as I went along... tigereye, glass, and coral beads.  Backstitching, french knots and a few feather stitches(?). Fabric scraps, felt and leather strips.  About 6 hours work in total...

I received from my round 2 partner!  I'm out of town until Monday but the BF says it's there!  I let him open it and he took one terrible picture in between rounds of Call of Duty (HATE that game -- well that it turns him into a zombie!)  But I got paper beads, a notebook, bookmark and a card!  they look awesome I can't wait to see them in person - I LOVE paper beads!  Thank you!

Hello everyone!  It is super intimidating posting on this board - everyone is super talented!  Anyway I'm currently traveling and I wanted something to do that required little supplies.  I've never encountered dotees before Craftster so I thought I'd give it a try.  I'm not sure if these are kosher exactly but whatevs.  My first was such a great, quick little project I've made one everyday since!

The first was all hand beading and I just made up the design as I went along. It was also my first foray into beading so it was a learning experience.

The back:


The second I made for my mom.  She bought a new bra that day and had boobs on the brain.  It reminds me of a Miami Virgin Mary.  Shes made from scrap fabric and beads.


The third is strangely powerful!  I started making him the day before the big storm hit the midwest/south... never know.  I got the inspiration for his face from Hopi Kachina dolls.  He's made out of a ton of sequins (obviously) and beads.  And patience.


To balance the guy above I made his opposite, the lovely lady below.

I've received from Southern Flower!  It's a lovely wallet for all the "loyalty" cards you get from places like the grocery store and petco.  I've already filled mine up!  She also sent me Andes Mints and a huge Mr. Goodbar.  Thank you Southern Flower!
