I have to agree with you, gaudiknight, it will be awesome when I can use my desk too. It is usually fairly tidy: like I can use it within 5 minutes of tidying up/cleaning off. But I finished a couple of projects just before Christmas, and then we got lots of things, and then there had to be somewhere to put the packaging and then I had to store the normal decor whilst the Christmas decor was up and then I had to put the recently taken down Christmas decor somewhere before it all goes back in the loft (hopefully this weekend) and now I can barely open the door to the room.

Sigh! At least the rest of the house is now in some sort of order, so that is a start.

Happy 2015 to all us de-stashers.

I'm in.
And......I have a new camera that I received for Christmas so I can actually share with you some of my projects. Yippee!

My stash has grown (blushes). I had achieved a drawer downsize for my yarn and corresponding transfer of fabric into drawer from large heap on the floor, but I now have the yarn stash of someone's mother to add in. I don't know what I'm going to do with it long term, but currently the blue cones are masquerading as Christmas trees and the rest is just shoved under the bed (not a long term plan).

I know I've been very invisible in this forum (lack of a camera), but I just had to mention I've just destashed some beads (OK, not really a great quantity) but they had been in my stash for the last 32 years.  Shocked Yes, really.

I've just frightened myself.

How amazing is that: I've come out all green with envy. How I wish I'd had your inspiration when I was thin enough to wear something like that!

Giant Snowflake? Extending to cover above the niche (where a lamp might go to light it?).

104 Placemats! You're going to be sewing up a storm!

How's everyone doing with their lists? I'm a very late starter this year, but I seem to be making reasonable progress and I've added another person on to the list because she just needed a crocheted Dipetalogaster maxima (google it!). Photos when I can manage them.

You might find some ideas here: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=435018.0.

Just don't look at my pathetic list. I'm all out of ideas this year.

They look like great bead boxes to me...., but maybe thats just me.

They look quite shallow. You could also put tiny pop up dioramas in them, maybe even use them as Greetings cards and put a wee message inside the pop up?

They are gorgeous. Perhaps you could put a little resin in and then they may still be coasters?
