I know, I know, but what do you call these other than glitter balls?



The glitter's on the inside, so they look nice and don't make a mess!

All you need is:
-clear glass ornaments
-adhesive spray glue
-glitter

Take the hanger top off the ornament.
Hold the glue nozzle up to the opening and spray. Spray enough so there's a little liquid collecting in the ornament. Rotate the ornament to coat the inside.
Sprinkle glitter through the opening, via a funnel or a folded piece of paper. You can put one color on some sections, then pour another color in and rotate to coat the inside.
Let dry, then put the hanger back in!

Sorry, the day got away from me! Anyway, here is the requisite "everything" shot of my package from tickle-me-emo:



Horlicks! Bottle caps (my husband collects them)! Cards! A toast-imprint maker! Beautifully painted porcelain items! Bottle cap clips! A London guard peg! A London guard egg holder!The best towel ever! And, everything was so cutely wrapped in cellophane with nice ribbon!

It came with a saucer, painted with the British flag, that says "Afternoon Tea Time"

And, there were salt and pepper shakers... unfortunately, one suffered a tragic accident on the trip (and no wonder, judging from the box... I think someone kicked it from the UK to America). however, the other is just fine and has a dandy painting of a red post box!


Finally (for photos), the backdrop to it all, a lovely, absolutely tacky, over-the-top tea towel, I love it:

I second the apology for taking so long to post pictures. Laughing Lark was an angel for me, and not only that, but she made me TONS of stuff, and she made it in, oh, three days? I couldn't believe the package!

I got these awesome quilled earrings from defunct buffalo a long time ago. I'm finally posting picutres. They're great earrings, very unique, awesome colors, and they remind me of my favorite earrings from Nepal!






She also sent me some sweet quilled note cards, cuz she's cool like that.

This is the story of a room that lived three very different lives...

In its first life, the room was just a part of the garage that had been semi-walled in. It had a concrete floor, no insulation, lots of dust and lots of junk being stored in it.
after being partially cleaned:

After A LOT of work, the room was reborn as a bedroom with aqua walls and "Carolina parakeet" trim:


note the ceiling! the carpet! the lack of cobwebs! To compare, the window is the same window that is covered by a bamboo shade inthe first pic.

Finally, the room is no longer needed as a primary bedroom. Lucky for me, it is now a guestroom/craft room!


See the closet? No longer a fruit cellar!
