1  First attempts at Recon-ing (Dress and Skirt) in Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by ~fallenfairy~ on: February 28, 2011 03:53:16 AM
First recon ever is the shirt/dress thing, it was once one of my dads old dress shirts that I just to just wear as jammies but figured it was such a lovely material a dress would be better, it fits me a lot better than the mannequin

and the band along the bottom

The skirt was once a really really ill fitting tunic that made me look ever so pregnant and is now a very childish skirt which I actually really like and only took an hour to make so it can't be bad

I really enjoyed my first attempts at recon and am planning on doing more

This is only the hmm 4th? completed thing I've made and the first time I've put in an invisible zip and I'm so proud of my zip putting in skills here is a photo of just the zip

Not sure how I'm going to wear it but I do love it

3  Lazy day skirt in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by ~fallenfairy~ on: January 24, 2011 03:03:47 PM
Having one last day of the two I got between the end of exams and start of semester I figured what better way to spend it than making something pretty to wear?

It's only the 2nd thing I've managed to finish that isn't a Halloween costume so I'm pretty pleased with myself
