131  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / So much lace!! What to do with it all? on: April 25, 2012 06:22:01 PM
I've collected lace. I love the stuff, black stretchy is my favorite but I've collected bunch of different kinds. Stretchy, non-stretchy, stiff-ish, black, white, yellowbluebrownpink etc, some sexy, some girly, some baby-ish.

Often I use it for undies (tehee), and I've used it on things like pencil cases (which was made entirely of black leather with a strip of black lace - many comments about the 'sexiest pencil case ever' - haha!), but I'm not sure how else to deplete this enormous stock.

Doesn't have to be clothing, can be anything.
Photos are appreciated, but comments are welcome as well!

Every girly outfit is made better by some biker-esque boots. <3
And may I say that this dress is EPIC.

Very nice! Ruby-throated Hummingbird & a Kingfisher?
Love the little feather details, it keeps everything together. And how you've painted it, especially the little smudge of red on the Hummy. Nice job!
134  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Save Me - Detailed Painting of a Cheetah on: March 25, 2012 07:40:01 AM
My latest painting. Its for a small contest promoting Endangered African wildlife, so I tried for a desperate pleading look on the cheetah.

Its all acrylic paints on a 11"x14" canvas

135  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Re: Messenger bag for Uni on: March 04, 2012 10:21:48 PM
Very nice! Looks study enough too for all those heavy university books (I know, my shoulder wants to kill me!  Cheesy)

Love the outside fabric, and the pop of pink showing around the edges really adds to it.
136  COOKING / Recipes and Cooking Tips / Re: Tasty ways to jazz up popcorn? on: March 01, 2012 05:03:10 PM
I got my air popper from Ross of all places! I love looking at their kitchen stuff. Cheesy

ETA: Although I just saw a really cool style in a magazine, after it pops it, it keeps it in a clear bowl type thing that is part of the machine (unlike mine which shoots it out into a bowl I put under it) and then there is a button to turn a mixer on so you can mix up the flavorings you pour in!

Found it! Ok, more expensive than my $12 Ross one! Cheesy

I want one! Ours is literally..26 years old. Still works, but about a third of the popcorn comes whizzing out and either burns you, or gets all over the floor and counters.

Thanks everyone!
These pieces are super fun to paint, nothing like making a mess all over the table with paint!  Cheesy

These all sound DIVINE.

And I like that not all the recipes have margerine/butter. I like to have popcorn as a study snack and leaving greasy fingerprints all over my super pricey university textbooks and papers isn't the most desirable thing!
