111  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: Handkerchief Top tutorial on: October 18, 2012 08:21:28 PM
Brilliant idea! And I was just at Walmart, GAH! Must pick up some handkerchiefs next time!
Pin'd for future use!
112  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / Re: Bertie Botts Bean Bracelet on: October 07, 2012 03:48:08 PM
These are INCREDIBLE!
Though I would have a hard time wearing them, you know, salivating excessively all the time. People love that.  Cheesy

I can't get over how real they look!
113  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: thrifted leather jacket to hobo bag! on: October 04, 2012 11:25:42 PM
Looks awesome!
Old leather jackets are easily my favorite thing to repurpose. I'm in need of a larger bag for university (sadly my DIY version of a Rebecca Minkoff bag is just a bit too small for what I need it for) so I may have just found my inspiration!
114  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: Refillable Leather Journal on: October 02, 2012 06:19:45 PM
These are INCREDIBLE!

Leather journal making is a craft I would love to get into, but in the meantime I'll just admire the heck out of yours!
115  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: Maxi Skirt [tutorial] on: September 16, 2012 06:59:49 PM
Usually I'm not a maxi skirt kind of person, but seeing this sent me on a mad-dash to my fabric stash!  Cheesy
So gorgeous, love the fabric and the cut, looks so incredibly awesome!

How many pleats did you make here?
116  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: my first dress on: September 16, 2012 06:56:49 PM
Oh my GOD that is a gorgeous dress!

The pattern looks VERY familiar, I think that I may own that one. I made a couple dresses a few years ago for a tropical vacation, looks very similar. Yours turned out a million times better, your fabric choice is incredible. Perfect drape, perfect fit!

I'm so inspired now!
117  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Your Favorite T-Shirt Recons? on: September 06, 2012 03:06:59 PM
I've been on a t-shirt surgery inspiration kick lately, started a board on Pinterest of all the lovely recons that I would love to try.
My board --> http://pinterest.com/daytimeheroes/adopt-a-t-shirt/

Totally hit up a thrift shop yesterday, bought a handful of way oversized dirt-cheap shirts in some nice colours/patterns, now just to find the right inspiration!

Show me your faves! Links, photos, Pinterest boards, etc!
Lets make a collection!  Grin
118  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Lap of Luxury - Tiger With Butterfly Wings on: September 03, 2012 03:30:33 PM

My latest painting. Done with India Ink and coloured pencils for the eyes!
119  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Discussion and Questions / Best places to get cocoa and shea butter? (Online & Real Stores) on: August 22, 2012 01:23:05 PM
My mother and I have found a huge fascination in the art of making cosmetics, body products and the like. For our first experiment we want to try making knock-off LUSH hard massage lotion bars. The recipe requires cocoa and Shea butters.

So my question is, where is the best place to get cocoa and Shea butter, price-wise?
120  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: Penny (too many) for your thoughts?? on: August 14, 2012 04:16:46 PM
That looks AWESOME!
Love the random placement too, I've been dying to do this, just waiting for the perfect "canvas".

And may I mention how awesome the "get nakid" is? How fabulous!
