The hooves are especially nice!  I really like the postures you use with your creations also.  Smiley

Thank you! I tried a new method for creating the hooves and feet and it works so well!

Beautiful. I'm impressed by her huge delicate ears. And I also love the pose.

Thank you! She needed large ears with some pink, so lady-like!

Gorgeous!  I like how she is gazing at the stars or watching the clouds go by Grin

It does look like she's a star-gazer and cloud-watcher! Smiley

Still working on your skills, right?
Your skills already look amazing to me.

Another gorgeous piece of art!

Awe thank you! Practice means improvement!

13  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: Prom with a Pop! (pop tab dress) on: June 30, 2014 01:16:28 PM
This is awesome!
Love the simple "straps", they're perfectly elegant yet don't distract from the epic "fabric".

Is the dress lined? I can't imagine that those tabs would make for a very comfy gown!
14  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Kitty Portraits - Soft Pastels on: June 26, 2014 08:37:17 AM
It goes without saying that I love cats.

They're adorable, quirky, and make no sense 99% of the time. There is no logic when there is a cat involved.  Cheesy

These are two pet portraits I whipped up with soft pastels on velour paper of two of our three felines.

This is Crush...

...and this is Fidget.

Cutest little boogers in the world, snuggly and goofy. Love them ~

I will most likely be redoing Crush's portrait in the near future, compared to Fidgets I'm not happy with the results.

I just can't get enough of that clay! I'm still working on my skill level, there are a few things I struggle with but practice will help that!

This is Lady the Kirin, she's a quiet little pretty thing with iridescent scales and mane. And pretty blue eyes ~

oh...my ...word! This is gorgeous! My mouth dropped open upon seeing this creation. This totally is getting a "this rocks!".

Why thank you! =D

Everything you make rocks!
Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful creations with us!

Awe thank you! Smiley

I love seeing the sculptures you post on here.  This one is particularly beautiful and it is great to see all the little details.

Thanks! I love packing in as much detail as I can, its definitely a challenge with smaller sculptures!

Wow! I'm so very impressed! I just started in clay, having only made three animal heads for my soft-sculpture dolls. I hope to attain your level of expertise someday.

I'm still very green, I only started sculpting last summer. Its just such a fun medium to mess around with! Good luck with your future sculptures!
18  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / Re: The Littlest Pangolin - Sculpture by Danielle Trudeau on: June 10, 2014 09:09:26 AM
Where did you find your inspiration for him? Did you work from a photo? He's so real!

Thank you!
Awhile back I saw a taxidermy mount of a pangolin in one of my labs, and they've always looked so neat in photos. I always try to reference a little bit, helps it look like the animal its supposed to be. Smiley
19  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / Fantasy Barn Owl Sculpture on: June 09, 2014 08:11:04 AM

Another little sculpture, this time of my favorite bird. Barn owls are lovely <3

Photos from the top really show her form.

She was made with Super Sculpey, Superflex sculpey and wire, and painted with acrylics.
