Hi there,
I am a Swedish Weaving Designer in Ontario Canada. This is my 3rd full year doing this business. I will be happy to help you any way I can.

What are you working on as your first project?
I will post some photos one day soon.

Happy weaving,

7  FIBER ARTS / Weaving: Discussion and Questions / Re: Questions about Swedish Weaving on: January 21, 2011 02:49:28 PM
You can use a #3 pearl cotton (perle coton) yarn on Monk's Cloth. Did you wash and dry the fabric first? If you need some help I can walk you through the weaving process.
8  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Discussion and Questions / Re: What kind of embroidery is this? on: January 21, 2011 02:40:18 PM
What you have is a piece of Swedish Weaving on Huck (I think). Swedish Weaving is a surface embroidery (counted needlework) that usually uses floss or #5 Perle cotton yarns on a Huck fabric.  Then there is the standard Monk's Cloth 100% cotton 7ct fabric that usually uses 4 ply worsted weight acrylic yarns.
