8  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / 100's of Rat Earings <3(__)~~~ on: September 06, 2012 04:11:29 PM
hiya all. i've recently discovered the delights of polymer clays and i posted about my bottle top endeavours the other day. but i've also been makign some Rat earings.....well infact i made a pair for myself and a pair for my swap partner in the rodent revolution 4.... and i showed a few other rat loving people and they all said they loved them.....so i've just been making hundred and hundred of little rat earings Cheesy in all different rat varieties...... (all in both dumbo and top ears)

Heres a few of my favourites but there are hundreds more. i've been triying my hand at every rat variety going, but my faves as always are the haireless and the blues

Hairless black eyed rats,
Russian Blue Berkshire,
Black self dumbos
pink eyed whites (PEW's)
black and white hooded
red eyed hairless

Ther are lots more but i wont bore you they're all the same just different colours lol.......... i cant seem to get siamese right atm.........and am trying to work out how i'd do a rex rat............
9  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Discussion and Questions / Re: Embroidered Boots Question on: September 03, 2012 12:58:57 PM
i should imagine that the material was embroidered prior to constructing the boots. when the material layed flat.....

to recreate this on a pair of boots already constructed it may be worth the effort of de-constructing the part to be embroidered and then putting the boots back together afterwards. i think to try and sew wither by hand or machine onto a pair of boots moulded/shaped to stay circular your going to have a hell of a job getting the stitches to stay flat and even.....
