1  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Re: Baby Food Jars? on: April 30, 2011 07:31:30 PM
I got a bunch, painted the lids, poked holes for air and made tiny little bug habitats. I used ribbon to hang each habitat from a spray painted branch in a vase so it's kind of like a Christmas Tree Branch Bug Zoo thing. If you didn't want to keep live bugs you could make mini fake habitats and make little sculpty monsters or critters to "live" in them. Or get a board, paint it all fancy, nail the lids of the jars to one side of the board and hang the board on the wall! Instant organizer shelf thingy! Maybe make one for the garage for nails and screws and nuts and whatnot? Or buttons and pins and whatnot?

Can we get one more person saying what the game is called instead of giving an idea? Geez, hahahah, I think she gets it!!!

I'd use it kind of like you were saying with the pictures but put tiny objects in it, like a concave shadow box board of sorts. Maybe cover the whole thing in fabric first? That may just be me though, I like color instead of plain wood!

Lamp shade? Either link together and make a frame from thick wire and an o-ring (to go around the base of the light bulb) or paste over an existing ugly shade.
