1  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Get Product and Website Opinions / Etsy Store Finally Open.....Yay? on: November 28, 2013 06:47:11 PM
OK, so I finally unveiled my Etsy shop. I've already been told right off the bat (by an international friend) that my prices are wayyy too low.
Anyhow, could you guys give a glance please and let me know what you think of the wares, the prices, and also the business texts (shipping, returns, etc.).
Any feedback is greatly appreciated as always!

2  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Completed Projects / Re: Hematite Frame Bead Bracelet on: November 20, 2013 05:12:52 PM
Thanks everyone!

Also, you probably did have those exact beads...came from Michaels! I was in there tonight...so much fun. I have to drive an hour to get to the nearest one so it's like a treat to go!
3  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Re: Four Elements Etched Stones on: November 20, 2013 06:38:39 AM
That's an awesome idea! Well done. I can totally see the air symbol faintly.
4  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Completed Projects / Hematite Frame Bead Bracelet on: November 18, 2013 11:41:19 AM
Just completed this project. I like how versatile this piece can be. It has a natural elegant feel to it, though. Made of Hematite frame beads, Swarovski crystal rondelles and silver plated findings.

Feedback welcome as always!
5  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Completed Projects / Five Strand Necklace on: November 17, 2013 06:38:57 PM
This gem will be a gift for my mother's birthday coming up. She has admired my necklace, much like this, for a while now. So I decided to make her her own! Constructed of black seed beads, black Swarovski crystal rondelles, black glass pearls and silver plated findings. Although it's a bit weighty, I think she will rock it!

Feedback always welcome.

P.S. I do know that I could use the finding for multiple stranded necklaces, but I did not have any so I used what I had!
6  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Get Product and Website Opinions / Re: Pink Pearl/Silver Bow Earrings - Member Poll! on: November 16, 2013 01:53:06 PM
Thanks T, for your valuable insight! I will say, due to my frugality and Ebay, I have about $2 worth of supplies invested in these babies and it only took about 15 minutes to assemble. (I've done it a time or two, lol!) My mother felt I should ask $10 for a pair, but I just wasn't comfortable with that as the charm is not solid sterling silver but silver plated. I've began asking $8 per pair, which pays me about $16/hr for my time, after doubling the markup for supplies. I'm pretty content with that.
That being said, I wound up selling two pairs today as I was wearing them into a local store. I guess the price is right!
7  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Get Product and Website Opinions / Pink Pearl/Silver Bow Earrings - Member Poll! on: November 16, 2013 04:39:49 AM
So, I finished these cuties last night and I am in LOVE with them! Earrings consist of silver plated findings, pink glass pearl and silver plated bow charm.

Now for the poll. What would you feel comfortable paying for a pair of these? I'm torn with my pricing!
8  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Completed Projects / Pink Skull Charm Bracelet (my favorite!) on: October 28, 2013 08:53:07 PM
Here is yet another of the charm bracelet variety. Pink Howlite skull beads, Swarovski clear rounds, silver dangles and silver plated findings.

Feedback welcome!
9  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Completed Projects / Buddha Charm Bracelet on: October 27, 2013 02:27:23 PM
Once more, here is a Buddha charm bracelet featuring Howlite Buddha beads, faceted Hematite rounds, Swarovski bicone dangles and silver plated findings.

Input always welcome!

P.S. My photography could use improving, but this is the best I can muster with my phone camera!
10  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Completed Projects / Star Charm Bracelet on: October 27, 2013 11:12:11 AM
Well guys, I'm rolling with it today. This cutie is made using Howlite star beads, Swarovski rounds, Hematite star dangles and of course silver plated findings.

What ya think?

**Hope I'm spelling Howlite the correct way. I'm too lazy to google, ha!
