This gem will be a gift for my mother's birthday coming up. She has admired my necklace, much like this, for a while now. So I decided to make her her own! Constructed of black seed beads, black Swarovski crystal rondelles, black glass pearls and silver plated findings. Although it's a bit weighty, I think she will rock it!
Feedback always welcome.
P.S. I do know that I could use the finding for multiple stranded necklaces, but I did not have any so I used what I had!
Hello all! Based on the same base idea of the dime bracelet I posted earlier, I have made myself a skull charm bracelet. I used natural stone multi-colored skulls, bicone Swarovski crystals, silver plated findings and pearl drop charms. I think this combination is just the right balance of feminine and punk! As always, any and all feedback is appreciated!
So, my grandpa came up with a great idea to make dime earrings, which turned out to be a big hit. Unfortunately I did not take any pictures of the earrings before sending them off to be re-homed. My grandpa proudly gave my grandma the first set, delighted that she loved it. Maybe three days after they both decide she needs a dime bracelet. Since the moment that thought crossed their minds my grandpa has called me *every single day* to see if I had started the bracelet. It's quite simple, but nice in its own way. Here is the finished product of said bracelet:
Any and all input welcome. I'm sure I'll be getting some from the grandparents tomorrow anyhow!
Happy Halloween! Just a cute little Dum Dum Halloween bucket bouquet for table garnish. Super easy build: Shape and spray paint bit of Styrofoam to fit into bottom of dollar store dish. Poke Dum Dum's into the Styrofoam to your heart's content!
So, I'm getting into scratch art lately, but with a morbid little twist. I'm pretty excited at how these turned out, especially the heart. It's pretty simple. Scratch art for the image, recycled frames painted and decorated - then... happiness! Let me know what you guys and gals think, please! P.S. Please ignore glare on brain piece...I could not do away with the glare fully! Also, I'm no Photoshop gal to edit it. If anyone would like to tutor, though...
