1  Pompom Yarn Garland in Halloween Decor and Parties by leighmatheson on: November 01, 2011 07:06:44 PM
I whipped this garland of yarn pompoms up to use at our Halloween party! I made the poms using the doughnut template and then crocheted a simple chain to thread through the pompoms. Cute as pie, I think! I'm thinking now in hindsight that I could have twisted another simple pumpkin garland or whatnot to make it even cuter. Questions and comments always welcome!

After looking at the only picture I have to upload I see that the light is not great, but you get the general idea. I used a charcoal chunky yarn and purple blend thinner yarn, both of which I got at a garage sale! I'd say this little project only cost me about $0.50!

2  Funky Armwarmers in Knitting: Completed Projects by leighmatheson on: August 14, 2011 08:36:40 PM
Hello fellow knitters! I am very new to the craft, but wanted to show off one of my first gifted projects. This is a pattern I created myself, and now I see I should have adjusted the needle gauge down a bit to bring the knit tighter. Although...I kind of like the holey look. I knit this as a solid rectangular piece and then sewed the edges together (I forgot the stitch name, sorry! {super newbie, lol}). Questions and comments always welcome and appreciated.

Thanks!!

3  Adult Tutu in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by leighmatheson on: August 14, 2011 08:28:50 PM
Hello everyone! This is my first posted project to Craftster, and I am very excited about it.

I got the idea to begin making adult-sized tutus because when I asked a local crafter if she made them for adults she looked at me like I was crazy! I don't think kids should have all the fun, I like to dress up still too!

So without further wait, I present my first ever tutu experience. Questions and comments are welcome, as they always will be.

Thanks!
