1  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: Zombie CrossStitch from Zombie kit on: March 21, 2011 07:36:08 AM
Only half an hour ago I was looking at zombie cross stitch pattern with my friend. Yours are top quality.
2  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: adult sized chicken hat (with pattern) on: March 16, 2011 06:57:42 AM
Much love to Luvcrochet for a crochet pattern. I've still got the training wheels on the crochet hook and having a pattern instead of trying to convert a knit pattern makes me sigh with relief.
3  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: Yarn Bombing - ducks in the river on: March 13, 2011 07:36:15 PM
Gorgeous, I wish I was in Melbourne to see this. Makes me wonder if there are any yarn bombers up here in Queensland.

And then they had cake. This is so awesome, I would love to make a Kim Pine one. I really like how cleanly the artwork transfers to a stencil. Fantastic job to you.

This is a fantastic and personal idea for gifts, and i'm sure they were well appreciated. Anything handcrafted and given as a gift that does not recieve appropriate praise should be taken back until said person learns manners.
6  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: Im so happy - I made a rockabilly dress! on: March 13, 2011 04:47:20 AM
The halter neck style and cardigan combine to give you very flattering cleavage. Just saying.
7  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Re: Plush Yetis on: March 13, 2011 04:45:35 AM
I started making high pitched noises of excitement at the computer when I saw these. They are amazing and so very very adorable.

9  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: Power to the Murse! on: March 12, 2011 11:54:12 PM
I do like this, the blues are really nice colours and the power symbol is wicked. I've never heard of illusion before but now i'd like some info and to try it out.
10  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Re: Am i the only one? on: March 10, 2011 07:26:10 AM
I found some at a dollar store. I am tempted to try and paint some of the plain ones as I have not been able to get them again and I love all things bright. I think sometimes you can get them at places like target too, it just depends on luck Wink
Check out these though! I love the idea but dread using superglue!

I've used nail polish to paint bobbie pins and hair clips. It works out really well.
