We did the Potter theme, too, but not nearly as elaborately. You all look fantastic! Love the pumpkins too.
3  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Harry/Hermione and Tonks on: November 01, 2011 07:39:43 PM
My daughter wanted to be Harry Potter for Halloween this year. She decided she didn't want to wear the glasses after all, so she ended up looking more like Hermione.

I think she was just happy to have a wand.
And Harry/Hermione with Tonks.
Hubby Lupin was acting as cameraman, so, sadly no photos of him.

I think my favorites are 3 and 7. It was hard choosing because they are all so lovely!
7  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / Fair weather jacket on: September 26, 2011 07:54:30 PM
I've had my eye on the Fair Weather Jacket pattern by Little Prints for some time. My daughter is finally big enough (they start at size 2), so I made her one.

I used red twill for the outer fabric and a cotton print for the lining. Perfect for the fall weather we're starting to have.

That looks amazing. And with an injured hand, no less. And your girl looks so happy.
