Yay for poor quality web-cam pictures? This octopus could be found on the lionbrand website, and I thought my friend would love it! I made this octopus for my friend's birthday, which we will be celebrating this Saturday. I started this mid-day Monday and have been working on it off and on since then.
By today, I only had to put the face on, and I'm not entirely happy with the mouth. Any suggestions? Maybe I should put a mustache..?

Oh, and since taking the picture above, I've fixed that little amount of embroidery floss hanging out from the eye.

This is my first ever project with a sewing machine!
I got the machine on Friday, and I wanted to make something over the long weekend! This is what came out of it! It's a little short, and I didn't actually know how to hem the bottom of the dress correctly. This dress came from another dress that would never in a million years fit me and an old Panic at the Disco shirt. I hope you guys like it! I'm pretty proud of my creation.
