i realized today that i never showed off the fruit skirt i made a while ago, and i thought it was well about time. it my favourite skirt and i looove it. i have a lot of fabric left that i don't know what to do with, any suggestions? at first i thought i'd do another one, this time with the fruit pattern vertically, as i first intended to but somehow screwed up, but now i really don't see the point as i love it the way it is.

i used this pinafore tutorial i found here on craftster. i couldn't follow it exactly since i'm dumb enough to think i know better, so it's not as great as it could've been.

i received the most amazing package from loudxmouse today and i hate to tell you all, you're gonna be soo jealous when you see it. you really spolied me meghan! thank you SO much!

i got a tshirt, a jewelry box, a pocket cup cozy with a cup pocket (oh yes!), fantastic necklaces and earrings and hair clips, a dvd/cd case, hand spun yarn and sweets.

oooh! it makes me so happy to hear you like what i sent you! i was getting rather self conscious at the end of this swap. i know everyone makes such amazing stuff and i wanted so bad for mine to be great as well, oh the pressure.

the note book is painted with Leeho's puffy fabric paint pens. the fabric gets puffy when you iron, blow dry it, or put it in the oven as i did. just be careful not to forget about it if you try this as home kids, this was just seconds from getting all burned.

the tin was one of my favourite items to make. i think i'll have to make one for myself as well.

the mini hitcher hat was my absolute favourite so i'm really happy you love it as well. i thought it'd be so you! oh you HAVE to dress up as a burlesque hitcher for halloween! that would be so great! (and you have to show us the pictures as well!)

Hey gang, so I've been getting quite a few people telling me that life has been interfering with crafting (the horror!) and they've had to send late. So I think a good solution might be to extend the deadline until Saturday. That will give everyone a few more days to finish up (don't rush!  ) and give those who work during the week a little weekend time to finish. Is this ok with everyone? Sorry to those who have already sent; you guys will get a glowing "sent early! Freaking amazing craftster!" feedback  . Let me know what you guys think of this idea. For now, let's say that Saturday is the new deadline. Any objections? Speak now or forever hold your peace.
