1  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: Two-Layer Draped Skirt on: February 13, 2012 08:38:05 AM
You did a great job! ! !
Give yourself credit for creating a beautiful garment!!! Smiley

So, this isn't your style anymore? I'll bet you can find a way to change it and make it more your current style. Add color, sparkle or contrast.
Personally I'd remove the longer layer (I'm short I'd trip on it) and wear it as the draped & ruched skirt.

But honestly it is a gorgeous and creative design!   Grin

That looks great!
And I agree with the elbow length, very modern.
3  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: felted interlocking crochet hotpads on: December 23, 2011 06:58:44 AM
I was SO in love with your work and the interlocking crochet that I've been searching for anything else interlocking for 3 days now. Yesterday I got the book from the library "Interlocking Crochet" by Tanic Galik.

Now I have to come back up for air and finish gift wrapping, cleaning and baking before tomorrow. How do you pack 3 days of work into 1?
Where's that teenager of mine???

LOVE IT! The best mermaid ever! All the details you worked on are perfect. And it goes well with the color of your hair!
5  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Re: Mario Kart on: November 17, 2011 11:11:09 AM
AMAZING! Brilliant!
How many members were there in all?
Did you win at the bar?

(y m i the only one that thinks of these things....how hard was it at potty breaks? haa haaa)

You've got some great fun friends there, you are already a winner!
6  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Re: Madman With Mechanical Hands on: November 17, 2011 10:54:39 AM
I'm left wondering  Huh if the evil Madman with Mechanical Hands was hurt by the "small people of the park". Or if they helped him to overcome his evil ways  Shocked by smothering him with love. (I've witnessed the "small people of the park" doing this to others, the ice cream vendor especially)

Will there be a 2nd installment of the "Madman w/Mechanical Hands" Chronicals??

7  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Re: Kentucky Derby on: November 14, 2011 07:38:05 PM
How cute is that?!  I love costumes that include the whole family! And of course the furry members too!
The expression on your son's face is priceless, he is having a blast!
Congrats on creating a wonderful family memory!
8  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Re: Katy Perry Cupcake Dress on: November 14, 2011 07:34:00 PM
LOVE the costume and the model!!!
Too bad the idea came from such a disgusting role model for our girls as Katy Perry. But your daughter is gorgeous and looks like she could have her own cartoon character!

I can see the whole bunch walking down the street!  Shocked
10  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Re: Broadway Dancing Corn on the Cob! on: November 13, 2011 08:29:36 PM
How adorable!! And the fact that your face is glowing along with a great smile makes the costume that much better!
A-maize-ing originality and done with class! I hope you win.  Grin
