Class/Challenge/House Pride: Muggle Studies
SPEW:
House: Slytherin
Project Name: Trick or Treat/Doctor's bag
Project Page Link (if available):
Brief Description: Everyone knows that a bag is needed to carry all the treats from trick or treating on Halloween and my four year old little witch is no exception. But rather than buying her one or just giving her a regular plastic bag to use, I crocheted her one. Done up in the colors of her favorite cartoon doctor, Doc McStuffins; doctor for stuffed animals and toys (and coincidentally what she'll be for Halloween), it'll be perfect for carrying all the treats she's sure to get. And it'll double as a doctor's bag after the holiday for her doctor tools while she tends to her own stuffed animals and toys. On the side is a little pocket for her favorite plush lamb, Lambie, from the show itself.

SPEW:
House: Slytherin
Project Name: Ear Warmer
Project Page Link (if available):
Brief Description: I was given an infinity scarf in my house colors last year before the big snow. Knowing a cold winter is due again this year, I waved my wand and made up this little ear warmer to match my scarf

I've been wondering it too. Though I am curious to know if maybe they could be used as handles for doll purses.

Wow time flies. Anyway, next double prompt. Going to detour for the moment from going directly down the line of baddies to correlate a bit with Sailor Crystal.

Goodie
While yes our first goodie theme was the inner sailors, this time we're going to focus on the two still left to be introduced in Sailor Moon Crystal. Sailor Jupiter and Sailor Venus. Take the time to really focus on the aspects of these two Sailors that you love the most and let your inspiration flow.

Baddie
In the last episode of Crystal, the four kings introduced themselves to Sailor Moon, Sailor Mars and Sailor Mercury. The four kings being Kunzite, Jadeite, Zoicite and Nephlite. Pick your favorite out of the four and have fun.

All projects related to these themes are due November 30th

Is it bad that I see the prompt for Alchemy and all that comes to mind is Sailor Venus from Sailor Moon? Probably doesn't help that I'm rolling a ball of orange yarn (orange being one of Sailor Venus' colors) either lol

Class/Challenge/House Pride: Detention in the Dungeons September Challenge
SPEW:
House: Slytherin
Project Name: He's a Phantom
Project Page Link (if available):
Brief Description: This was something I started a while back. But he's been just as annoying as Peeves if not to the same level. Or at least his hair was. Good thing too for the half-ghost hero of Amity Park, Danny Phantom. Finally I took charge and got his hair in place and finished him off today, even trying something new like embroidering his "DP" logo on his suit rather than cutting and pasting one.

Okay, I have a question. On the prompt for Flying. Does the wood have to be seen in the project for it to qualify?

I'm not sure what you mean.  I would think that if wood were used as a "primary" material as it says in the prompt, that you would be able to see it when the craft was complete.  The wood should be a major component, rather than a tiny add-on.  (A knitted scarf with a few wooden beads wouldn't really be a "primary" component, as the primary would be yarn.)   It doesn't have to be "wood-colored" though, if that's what you mean.  You are welcome to paint, decoupage, be-ribbon, be-jewel, etc. the wood.

I was thinking in the case of like crafted dolls that might have wooden dowels to sort of help support limbs. But since I guess for some people that would be more of an add-on, then such dolls wouldn't qualify. So thanks for clearing that up.

@Naantje: Excellent job. With the words and the monsters. Especially the multi-headed one. The internet truly is such a beast and a monster. And you caught that very well.
