AHH!! i love gameboards! have i mentioned that before? lol. ive done cards, scarbble, sorry, & now im into CHESS!! eeeeeeek!

ok so this is my tote its abut 14 inches x 10 inches. the ribbon is black and is about 32 inches discluding the bow. the width is about 2 inches. it started out to be about a 20 x 20 chess mat, then i did some fancy shabams! to make it snazzy!!

i made this from my brothers old chess mat which he recieved when he won some competition.

the button was from an old antique store. while the ribbon was ripped of an old prom dress of my cuzins.

a closeup of the button, i used a hairtie for it.

thanks! leave comments & critiques!! :]

10  1/2 record purse!!! pretty nifty!! with "tutorial" in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by isloovereal on: March 05, 2005 01:18:47 PM
here the record purse i made! its so cute, but u cant hold much in it. i can carry a cell phone in it, lipgloss, my wallet,...basically the basics or super this stuff.

heres how ya do it:

1)buy a record from somehwere. i got mine @ goodwill for a buck. just in case, buy two records, you'll c y later.

2) next split one record in half.( this is super difficult,i used sissors and then midway through cutting i broke it w. my hands. usually the record cracks, but sometimes it yu get a one  perfect semi-circle and the other 1/2 of the record is jagged and cracked so do it with the other record. this takes practice!)

3) grab a pencil case such as this one:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v200/isloovereal/9d26005c.bmp

4)glue it between the records with super glue/ bond blue/a glue gun... whatever it takes, cuz records differ from what find of material the pencil case is and you might need to adjust the bonding of them both.(make sure the zipper of the pencil case is unzipped)

5)let dry for up to 2 hrs depending what glue u are using

6) then get a piece of strong lace (whcih i used), or other material for the shoulder strap and glue it on opposite sides inside of the record

6) and you ARE DONE!!

directions may be unclear, just tell me
