Great idea! You could definitely recreate something similar with lace or trim, I'm sure.

Thanks. The thread is Lizbeth in Dark Ocean Turquoise. Love it!  Grin

If you make a tatted bracelet, I recommend stiffening it before wearing. Mine's folded over after wearing it all day, so I think I'm going to back to block and stiffen it, but otherwise I've worn it comfortably all day. No complaints.

And Ruby, where there's a will there's a way. I'm totally a self taught tatter. There are tons of videos and whatnot on the internet. Just give yourself time and patience, and then practice, practice, practice.  Smiley

Thanks!

MoonlitSun -- tatting is a form of lace making. The lace is made using a series of knots and loops. Traditionally it is made using a shuttle (a device to hold the thread), and thread. You can also tat using a needle, instead of a shuttle. The patterns read very similar to crochet patterns.

Hi! I hope this is in the right spot, as there is no predefined tatting project spot. I debated between this section and the needlework section. So, sorry if this is in the wrong place.

I've been hopelessly addicted to tatting, and have been dreaming up making a cute bracelet for a while now. Here is the result.

I've also drafted a mini tutorial on my site, if you would like to make one of your own. Here's the link: http://bitsofbruce.com/tatted-edging-bracelet-mini-tutorial/

Thanks for looking!

Wow. Love the colors. I agree, it does look sort of pj-ish. Maybe a deeper neckline would help?

The pattern looks so much better now that it's been freed from it's pleated prison.

This is beautiful (and I'm not a huge fan of dragon's either). I can definitely appreciate the sheer volume of work that went into this. You did a fantastic job!

Love the new extensions. They're beautiful!

The zombie girl is super cool, but really, the typography makes me swoon. It tugs at my eternally romantic heartstrings. Well done!
