23  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Bow Infinity Scarf on: December 07, 2014 06:41:50 PM
I have finished my first large crochet project!  I am a very new crocheter, and with this inspiration I knew exactly what I wanted to do!

So here is my creation!  And a tutorial for you to recreate!

Supplies:
Crochet hook: size K or 10.5 or larger
Crochet hook for bow knot: Size H or 8
3 skeins of yarn (I used sugar 'n cream potpourri ombre)
1 skein for bow and cinch (I used sugar 'n cream hot purple)

Stitches used:
Chain stitch
Double crochet
Single crochet(to join edges of scarf)

Pattern:
With bow color:
Chain 20
Double crochet
You will have 18 double crochets on each row
Repeat for 22 rows.

Change color to scarf color:
Change color and continue to double crochet till you reach desired length.  I used about 2.5 skeins of yarn.
Join edges.  I used a single crochet on the wrong side of the scarf through both edges.

To finish the bow:
Chain 16 of bow color
Double crochet with the smaller crochet hook
You should have 14 double crochets
Repeat for 4 rows
Wrap around the scarf and join edges with a single crochet along the edges.

Bow Detail!

Action Shot!

Don't be afraid to adjust and either make it chunkier or wider.   Cheesy

I hope you like it, I am now addicted to crocheting!  Grin

I received an awesome package from Anna yesterday!

The necklace and celtic book are much appreciated!  I love them.  Thank you so much.

btw my bf swears that it should be a wrap around bracelet.  I think this is a dual piece of jewelry!  I love 2 in 1 crafts!

Those owl pattern weights are soo cute!

Aren't they? I have been meaning to make them for years now, but I only remember when I'm using cans of veggies as weights when I sew hahahaha.

I bought washers a while back with the intention of doing something like this or like this as pattern weights, but they still have nothing on them.  Shocked
