I think that guest-blogging has become very popular nowadays, and for good reason. On the one hand, it gives site owners fresh content, while on the other, it gives bloggers a chance to gain more exposure with links to their sites.

I don't know if someone has suggested this or not (because I haven't read all the replies), but you really should consider making more dolls and selling them. You could make some serious dough on ebay with a/some custom job(s) like this...

I was doing some pirate research myself (long story...) over at Youtube the other day, and I saw a whole bunch of recipes for pirate cakes, and a lot of Lego crafts. Lego puts out a pirates set; maybe you could buy a bunch of the sets to pass out, OR you could buy only a handful of them and assemble them around the room in strategic places...

If you're going to be serving the Yankee Stadium one at a party, and you want to give the attendees an authentic experience, I suggest you charge them $300 for admittance and throw in some bad hot dogs to go along with some watered-down beverages...
