the french knot polka dotted J is amazing. My mouth just dropped open when I saw it.

no reason to excuse that smile, you're adorable and so is that hat. I love that lace on top. And wow, to be coming up with patterns in school! Keep it up!

This is great! And that's how I sew too, very impatiently. Your colors look great together.

This is awesome. And I agree about that over the shoulder look.

How awesomely ambitious of you to try satin stitch first. i am in love with the Serenity patch. although, i too like the squirrels best. they look great on the dark fabric. Your Grandmother will love it.

Yes, it is like drawing, except on fabric I can actually do it! Why is it so much harder on paper?

I hope this picture is a good one. Really love the one costumesaremylife made me. It cracked me up that we both did Pixar hoops. And, yes those are all multi-colored french knots for balloons. You do not want to see the mess that is the back of that hoop. I've got a million more colors than I had before I did this hoop, so that's good. Smiley Thanks again for swapping!

and, just cause I have it, here's a pic of Carl's house:

Wow, all these hoops are so great! I love the Serenity one. Just lent a friend my copy of the DVDs and he was like, 'How did I not know about this awesomeness before?'

Even though squid are my most feared creatures I love your felt ones LimeRiot. So gonna try black fabric next.

I'm gonna be pushing the deadline to send, as I just have tonight and Saturday to work on mine. But I can't wait for costumesaremylife to see it!

Just checking in. I'm kinda half-way done? I just sort of jumped in feet first on what I thought would be a mock up to get the idea down, but I liked the way it looked so much that I couldn't bring myself to stop and re-start again. I have no patience for figuring out how to begin a craft. Which is weird, because I always read directions first on everything else.

Anyway, this is fun and I can't wait to see everybody's!
