I would love to try it!

I just love this idea!  This past weekend I was trying to convince my husband that we need plants hanging in the kitchen window... and now I can "dress" up the pots, too!
I am *so* going to try this!  Thanks for sharing!

This is an amazing pattern!
Thanks to you, I have *finally* made a flower!  Yay!
However, I need you to clarify a little something for me?  How do I finish off the last petal, thus finishing the flower?
5  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Unmarked yarn stash....... on: February 22, 2011 04:25:22 PM
Hey!  It's my first post!  Yay!

So, lucky newbie that I am, I received a bin full of yarn from someone who heard that I was learning to crochet.  Shocked  It has been great for learning the stitches and for some small projects (two pairs of legwarmers, fingerless gloves, a couple of hats and a pair of ponchos...) but now that I am looking for more challenging projects, I don't know what to do with the yarn I have.
I have no idea how to tell what type or weight it is, or what hook best suits it.  So I don't seem to be able to use it for a specific pattern.

What do you suggest?  I have enough yarn to keep me busy for quite some time... Huh

Thanks for the advice!
