1  FIBER ARTS / Felting: Completed Projects / Felted Moogle on: July 18, 2014 05:40:04 PM
For the Video Game Swap Rd.3 my partner listed moogles as one of her favorite characters and said she had a moogle collection she was working on. So since I'm beyond bad at making plushies I decided to needle felt one for her. It was a pain to make XP And I hated it while I was making it, but not looking back at the pictures... He came out pretty cute Smiley

2  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / Buffy tVS: Spike on: May 12, 2014 01:17:38 PM
A while back I wanted to join a swap, and missed the deadline due to marking my calender wrong. I was really bummed Sad Then the wonderful Spikefan (who was running the swap I wanted to be in) sent me a PM asking if I'd like to do a personal swap to the same theme. I jumped at the chance!
Spike was a favorite for both of us from the Buffy universe, and she said she liked miniature things. So I made her a mini bust of Spike. I saw most of the spike goodies she had gotten and they were all normal faced, so I made this one with his game face on ^.^ Since humans are hard for me, I'm a bit proud of him.
3  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / Biker Guy on: May 12, 2014 01:00:18 PM
This was a commission that I was rather proud of Grin This was my very first time making a full human form sculpture that I was able to make stable enough to stand all on its own! No stand required! Cheesy I know, I'm a loser, still proud of it lol. And this sucker was big. He was OVER a foot tall. I had to move the bars around in the oven to get him to fit. And I still had to make him without his head and attach it after he was done so he would fit.
4  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / My Little Pony Invasion on: May 12, 2014 12:48:04 PM
Let the my little pony madness begin!
I finally finished my Princess Luna that I started like, a year ago Tongue She was sitting here untouched for at least 8 months XP

I'm a fan of sengoku basara. So how could I say no to a my little motorcycle pony? lol.

I'm also a long time fan of yugioh. Especially the dragons Wink So here we have blue eyes...

And red eyes Smiley

Then was a custom pony I made for a friend, named Snowy Nights.

And since I couldn't find the official figure for this pony for a while, I ended up making my own.
5  FIBER ARTS / Felting: Completed Projects / Guardian Fox on: May 12, 2014 12:04:15 PM
It's been forever since I got to needlefelt anything. So when I saw a contest for making an animal in any medium you wanted, I knew 2 things for sure. One, it had to be a fox, and two it had to be needle felted Smiley Not sure why I felt the need to make the little mask, but I like it lol. I named the little guy Guardian Smiley

I need to needle felt more now!
6  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Pottery, Ceramics, etc: Completed Projects / How to Train Your Dragon: Toothless on: March 04, 2014 11:22:28 AM
So for the How to Train Your Dragon swap (http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=420528.0#axzz2PbrbsAp2) my partner was LauraM. While talking we found that we were both not only HTTYD fans but also big My Little Pony fans. LauraM even brought up liking my custom ponies I had made. So of course I HAD to make her one for the swap Wink
Thus this custom blind bag sized my little pony Toothless was born!

A lot of work went into him (carving, sculpting, baking, painting, glossing) so I hope you enjoyed looking at him as much as I enjoyed making him Cheesy
And a few more pictures of him can be seen in the swap gallery: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=422356.msg5012966#msg5012966
7  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Artist Trading Cards (ATCs) / ATC's (May-July) *Picture Heavy* on: July 11, 2013 11:48:47 AM
Time for more unloading of ATC's! Smiley
First is one I did for a fox theme. And combined an owl theme with. These characters aren't mine. I just borrowed them since I think they're adorable.

Next is Jack Frost form ROTG. My favorite character from the movie Smiley I'm bummed I messed up his lips so badly Sad But other then that he came out alright.

And I'm a sucker for cute little baby things, so a baby dragon hatching was must. This was inspired by a sculpture I saw online a while back.

And everyone loves grumpy cat!!! My hand writing is horrid, so for those that can't make it out, this ATC reads "Twinkle twinkle little star, I want to hit you with a car. Throw you off a tree so high, hope you break your neck and die."

And a classic little Jackalope since I love cryptives.

Then I sent two Harry Potter themed ATC's to a swap partner for a project she was working on.

And when I choose a love quote theme for an ATC THIS is what I end up making lol.

And I swapped a few How to Train your Dragon ATC's. I tried to do in several different artists styles. Some worked... others not so much.

This one I did based on the Changwing, so you can flip the see threw paper up causing the dragon to "change colors".

Then a set from a Myazaki Swap I did. The white wolf is my favorite by far Smiley

A fuzzy and sleepy baby owl :3

And I'm a sucker for both Zelda and memes. So I did a "take this" meme when I chose the Zelda theme from a swappers list.

Last a batch of Pokemon based ATC's for different swappers who happened to be fellow Pokemon lovers.

Hope you enjoyed some of them Smiley
8  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / Harry Potter Shrine on: July 01, 2013 12:12:51 PM
Well I'm an old Harry Potter fan who's been missing the fandom. And I was thinking about trying my hand at making a shrine after seeing so many cool ones on craftster. So when I was in the Ongoing Wish Swap and saw someone had a Harry Potter shrine on their wish list it felt like the perfect thing to craft Smiley I chose to use an Altoids mint tin as my base.
The outside has one of my favorite quotes written on aged paper along with a speical key that I'm sure all Harry Potter fans will understand being there Smiley

When you open it the top part has another favorite quote of mine Cheesy Along with a wand, owl, and real spider that I encased in resin.

And the bottom was done up like a Hogwarts classroom. And with how badly that cauldron is bubbling over I feel like Nevil may be in this class lol. I wish I has better pictures of the house crests on each side on the inside of the tin. And of the clear swirling legs I used for it to stand on to make it look like the shrine was floating on air. Also, the tiny candle by the crystal ball? Yeahhhhh I burned myself 3 times making that tiny thing with real wax Tongue lol.

The back, which I also can't find my picture of Sad , has a howler red backing with the swap date and such on the back. Hope you guys enjoyed looking Smiley
9  FIBER ARTS / Felting: Completed Projects / Needle Felting Animals (& egg) *picture heavy* on: July 01, 2013 11:51:46 AM
Well my best friend got me a needle felting set as a gift and I've been having fun learning how to needle felt Smiley I've stabbed myself a good few times Tongue But its still been fun! So I thought I'd share the goodies I've made so far.
This is the very first thing I made. A little felted baby bird. I gave it to my best friend as a thank you since she loves birds to much.

Then we have Angel, Fluttershys grumpy bunny from MLP:FiM.

And this one was a bit of a failure Tongue I was making a Barn Owl but I only had white. So I thought watercolors would be a great way to get some feathery light colors on it *face palm*

So after that I just went and got some colored wool. I started with green and made a little turtle.

Then I made a little Easter egg for my moms Easter egg collection she puts out each year.

Then I made Jiji from Kiki's delivery service for a recent swap... can you tell which ear my puppy chew on for a bit? Tongue

Last we have three animals that my (very pregnant) cousin asked me to make for the nursery, as baby Mac will be in very shortly Smiley
