1  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / Baby Groot on: June 10, 2015 11:50:23 AM
Yep, I did it. Even though I said I wasn't going to, after seeing just how many people made potted baby Groots when the movie came out. But guess who said he wanted one? Yep, dear old daddy. So guess what he's getting for fathers day? Smiley  But I have to say, despite its flaws, I'm rather happy with how he came out.

Thanks you guys.

bronzfrog- Thank you and I'm sorry, I just spent the last 10 minutes looking for it and I can't find it Sad I swear it should be in my history somewhere but I'm not having luck... I'm a bit bummed I lost it now. WHY didn't I make double sure I bookmarked it!

Patraw- If I'm remembering right, the video said to use real eyeshadow. But I only have eyeshadow in orange (for a costume) so I used my soft pastels. Just shaved it down and applied it with a brush.

I LOVE plushies, but fail at making them. But I found a video with steps to making super simple plushies (mainly using socks). Behold my first successful kitty plush. Everybody loves grumpy cat :3

I got a few awesome cards today Smiley From stillatthetop is a card for my keys theme. I couldn't get it on camera but he background keys are all very glittery!
And spikefan claimed me twice. One for pintrest inspired (which is going into my supernatural theme page). And then for my "draw this pony" theme. She chose my pony Crimson. And her daughter must have liked her design since she drew me a bonus card Wink

Thanks you guys Smiley

Oh man, I've very sorry for you loss Blu.

I'm sharing some cards I got yesterday in the mail. First is from AugustBell, for my Fox theme. It's a very firey fox. And from Blupaisan is one from my pintrest inspired choice. I forgot that was the big hipster trend with the guys last year. Braiding flowers into their beards lol. Thank you guys!
9  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Re: My Little Pony swap? on: March 23, 2015 05:38:37 PM
Hmm, that may help  IsikkahJai.
SO! Any thoughts other swappers? Would adding a fun theme help make this a touch more appealing?

Haha, guess were still on the same wave length IsikkahJai  Grin I know, I don't think I would be able to hold myself to one tiny thing. But it's looking like we don't even have enough interest to get a swap going at this point :/

Technically, if you have two people, you can make an official swap. There isn't really a minimum, well, two Grin. I read that somewhere else on Crafster last year, written by a moderator!

I know that you can do it with as little as two people (I believe you and I read the same post from the sounds of it), but honestly I would feel bad about adding to the craftsters swap data log for so few people. If it's only 3 or 4 people it's like, they could just do 2 personal swap if it was really a desire. My personal bare minimum for starting a swap is like 6 or 7.
