71  Re: How To Train Your Dragon Swap Gallery in The Swap Gallery by Oath Keeper on: April 15, 2013 05:43:08 PM
Well I received from the awesome LauraM this afternoon Smiley Behold the cuteness! She sent me a few ATC's of course Wink First of Hiccup and Astrid being adorable. They're my favorite parring from HTTYD.

Then one of my favorite dragon of all time Smiley Toothless!

And my favorite ATC of the bunch. Is of Stormfly (my second favorite dragon of the group). LOOK at the edge. She really burnt it, so it looks like the dragon is setting it alight! Cheesy This pleases me greatly lol. The pictures just don't do these justice.

Then she sent a chibi Toothless for my perler bead collection. Look at his cute little tongue. (Also note the little twilight she included as an extra so I can make another custom just like the one I sent her this swap;))

Last but not least, my big swap wish granted.... A Toothless plushie! Look at his cuteness Smiley And pardon the fur. I'm not sure if that;s dog fur or cat fur, but I know it belongs to one of our furry little friends Tongue lol.

And one of him standing by himself. I was having problems getting a good picture of him :/ But he looks great in person.

Thank you for a great swap LauraM Cheesy

I have two more ATC's today Smiley First from Helcura for my eye's theme is a very fuzzy ATC :3 It's titled "Why do boys always get the thick eyelashes?" And I think it is a VERY fitting title lol.

Then from PaperBeaw fro my pets theme is a picture of my little Tortoise done in what she said was her hand made paper. It has a nice feel to it Smiley

And she was even nice enough to include some of her homemade paper for future ATC use Cheesy

Thanks you guys!

Oh wow, so many awesome matchboxes! the Tourchwood one makes me all kinds of happy Smiley And that little hat for Alice in wonderland is so neat looking. Though I think that birdy in a tree one may be my favorite one so far Smiley

Edit: I just noticed that my partner never posted the matchbox I sent her weeks ago. So I guess I should post one. I chose her theme for wrong clocks (her examples were melted clocks or ones that go to 13'oclock). So I did a pocket watch that gos to 13, over an old timey brick lay. That little thing took hours of sculpting, posing, baking, painting, and resin pouring. But I like how it came out Smiley

I got a neat package from Deathbeforedishes today. Sadly I only have two pictures to share because my computer and camera are both fighting me at the moment Tongue Now on to pictures! She claimed me for a Marimo ball and a foxy goodie for my fox collection. She sent a canvas fox painting with a long swirly tail, not one but two Marimo balls, a yummy ATC+ ATC blanks, and two acorn tops (So I can start my little project now. Woot.)

And a shot of the big papa and nano sized plush Marimo balls next to my main Marimo ball bowl Smiley

Thank you Dishes Smiley

Deathbeforedishes got her package today and is trying hard to hide the plushie form her hubby until June. So I'm posting a pic for her. So this is the red shirt plush I made... lets just say it was an adventure making this little thing.

Well I just got my very first package for this swap and I feel sooo spoiled right now. I know hoops take a long time to make, so my claimer clearly just went overboard lol Cheesy A2K claimed me for a hoop featuring one of two quotes I had listed. She also sent a bunch of supplies. I got a pack of ATC blanks in a cute little baggie, a box with a bunch of different color wools for needle felting (my newest addiction) and a bunch of different sewing patterns. The top sewing pattern pack says SIMPLICITY on it, so I have a feeling they just might be simple enough for me Wink lol.

And a close up of the hoop! It reads, "The circumstances of one's birth are irrelevant; it is what you do with the gift of life that determines who you are." That quote always gives me goose bumps when I read it Smiley

THANKS A2K! Grin
