51  Re: Ongoing Wish Swap Round 90-92 gallery in The Swap Gallery by Oath Keeper on: March 27, 2013 07:51:28 PM
Deathbeforedishes got her package today and is trying hard to hide the plushie form her hubby until June. So I'm posting a pic for her. So this is the red shirt plush I made... lets just say it was an adventure making this little thing.

Well I just got my very first package for this swap and I feel sooo spoiled right now. I know hoops take a long time to make, so my claimer clearly just went overboard lol Cheesy A2K claimed me for a hoop featuring one of two quotes I had listed. She also sent a bunch of supplies. I got a pack of ATC blanks in a cute little baggie, a box with a bunch of different color wools for needle felting (my newest addiction) and a bunch of different sewing patterns. The top sewing pattern pack says SIMPLICITY on it, so I have a feeling they just might be simple enough for me Wink lol.

And a close up of the hoop! It reads, "The circumstances of one's birth are irrelevant; it is what you do with the gift of life that determines who you are." That quote always gives me goose bumps when I read it Smiley

THANKS A2K! Grin

Well I have some ATC's to share Smiley First from smileyyogini for my Buffy theme. It's a very iconic Buffy image that appeals to both my love of Buffy and my love of intense eyes.

Then from Kmac for my eyes theme is a card with a neat poem written in it- that, if I'm reading it right, reads:
Dark,
Almond eyes,
Pierce my soul,
Switchboard eyes,
cut.

Last is from Cmarion3 for my pets and she did a fabric card. She chose one of my suggies Smiley It says that it's printed fabric on the back. Whatever it is, it's awesome looking.

Thanks again you guys!

54  Re: Ongoing ATC Swap - March 2013 GALLERY! in The Swap Gallery by Oath Keeper on: March 18, 2013 04:02:32 PM
Wow, I missed so much in the gallery! Wonder why I didn't get an email about new posts :/ I always do. Weird. But I love the at adorable cursing kitty Cheesy And that Ariel card, oh I want to swipe it lol. So many great cards! Now I get to share the bunch I got in the mail today Smiley
From llisaredd for my fox theme is a cute little winter picture :3 that is super shinny and was hard to get a good picture of without washing it out XP sorry.

Then from WideEyesLife for my eyes theme is a little guy who is working the puppy dog pout.

And one from blupaisan for my cheese romance novel cover theme... this one had me rolling laughing. When my dad came to see WHY I was laughing, all I had to do was hold the card up next to the family tartan and he started laughing too. She nailed our family's Scottish colors perfectly and I have no idea how she did it. This card is going to be hung next to it if I have to tape it up there, I am determined now lol.

Last is from kartiana for my eyes theme. She said it is a character names Mr. Butane. And after seeing just his eye I must admit I am rather curious as to what the rest of Mr. Butane looks like.

Thanks guys! They are all great!

Well Homerof2 asked me to post some ATC's for her since they clearly never wish to be delivered :/ I claimed her twice.
First for O, which I did in cut paper layers.

And then for R. Which I did in watercolor.

I'm rather bummed they didn't make it since I liked the R so much Sad

56  Personal and Ongoing Swapped ATC's in Artist Trading Cards (ATCs) by Oath Keeper on: March 11, 2013 02:48:04 PM
Well I've been completely enjoying myself with the ATC's as of late Smiley So I figured it was time for another post of them.
First was a fancy puppy I made for Jillybeans. It has a needle felted mustache and glittery 3-D monocle :3

Then was a close up of a diver with the reflection of the ocean around them visible in their goggles. The reflection is water color and the person is colored pencil.

I love the legend of the Nessie Smiley So this was a lot of fun for me to draw.

This was the Y card for a swappers ABC set. I rather like how she came out Smiley

This card was for an owl theme and it got me a little choked up when I was making it. That carved heart with an owl holds speical meaning for me.

This little scorpion was based on a plushie I saw and was just to cute and to fitting not to make the focal point of this Scorpio ATC.

This one was done for a plus sized beauty theme. I tried to make it true to life and sexy but still tasteful and fun.

IT'S A FOX... do I really need to say any more?

This was done for a friend who likes my little pony. I personally love how it came out Cheesy

And my little Roug was the model for this card, so of course I like it Smiley

This was an alien brain hemorrhage. Amazing to look at, not so sure if I would drink it Tongue

Did you know a group of frogs is called a knot?

This was for a seahorse theme and was done with all colored and cut paper... it was a pain to cut out that tiny little seahorse.

This was for a moss theme and has real moss on it. It was inspired by the Janese garden near my home that has little shrines  in it.

And these are the ATC's I did for a personal swap. I don't know why but I think I do better when I'm doing ATCs for a personal swap vs in the ongoing swap. Odd. But this one was for a Japanese theme... even thought I think the news paper I used was from China and not Japan Tongue

This one has all of my favorite characters from the movie Spirited Away, done in chibi style.

This was for a photography theme and was centered around the dark room. Those are test strips from photos I took years ago for class.

Last is a bit of a movable one. It looks like a simple envelope ATC but then...

You flip the flap up and pull out a bunch of mini ATC's and a little note from me Smiley

Ok I think that's enough for now Smiley

58  Re: Little Visitor 16 Gallery - Halloween and the Winter Holidays in The Swap Gallery by Oath Keeper on: February 19, 2013 03:45:36 PM
My little guy got home while I was out of town over the weekend, but he waited for me in his box on my bed for me. Here is Faox and his goodies! Munchies and toys galore Smiley

And a batch of pretty postcards from his trip.

Faox picked out his favorite things from his trip. The cute fox ornament from his Christmas away and the little crystals in a bottle were both to shinny to pass up as top picks Wink

And one of my favorite pages from the amazing scrapbook I got... This is SO something Faox would do Cheesy lol.

And the other favorite page from the book, it's just so mystical looking Smiley

Thanks for a great swap partner! Grin
