I usually only make jewelry for other people but I made this and I'm keeping it 





Happy me on a Monday morning

I love the vintage look and love to use it with a modern twist. I worn this fun hat that was my Grandma's with a vintage suit to a play (used rag curls):

This past weekend was my Birthday (33 Oh My!) and also a good friends birthday. So I made myself a shirt for her party:



and a dress for my birthday







They are both super comfy and made me very happy

On a side note...you know you have an addiction when almost everyone you know gets you gift certificates to fabric stores for you birthday.

I made this dress for a Day of the Dead celebration a friend was hosting.

I got this shirt at the Rack for $8. I loved the pin stripe pattern but was not in love with the style.





So I cut the sleeves and added a big bow and now I am ready to wear it out and about.







I am really loving the finished project. I think I may change the buttons out for some black ones.

My Dad's birthday was Friday so I made him a flame & motorcycle Hawaiian style shirt. He will be the envy of his Harley group.

This year my sister-in-law and boyfriend both asked if I would make their costumes. And silly me I said SURE! Though both costumes had their difficulties I am pleased with how they turned out.

Unfortunately we had such a great time at the party we were all at the camera was forgotten and I didn't get a single picture of either of them wearing the creations. 

I made this for my best friend who is an avid tennis player.



I'm pretty darned pleased with it.
