1  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / teddy bear on: July 27, 2011 04:23:01 AM
Hey guys,

So, I'm still not very good at this. But I'm practicing. Wink This was my first attempt at crocheting a heart - it's a little crooked. Tongue I can live with that. This is a present for my gf. I hope she'll like it!!! Cheesy

Took me about 3-4 days to complete this little creature. I'm pretty happy with it! Cheesy

Please excuse all the white little hairs - I have two dogs and two cats. Shocked they lose a lot of hair...

Thanks for looking! Comments appreciated! Wink
2  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / my first full sized ami-doll on: June 06, 2011 02:57:59 PM
Soooo - I've been at this girl for a few days now and she's finally finished! yay. My first full sized doll. Smiley

Here she is without her accessories (please ignore the crappy pic quality - i can't find the cable for my digital camera Sad ):

and with her socks, hat and scarf:

she's a bday present for a friend and I hope she'll like her. My friend has a very colorful personality - hence the multicolored accessories! Wink

Hope you like her.
Thanks for looking. Smiley

3  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / i made me a nice glove - without the "s" on: February 21, 2011 09:29:36 PM
Hi everyone! So I stumbled upon the amigurani or what they're called here in this forum sometime friday night - and fell in love! but alas, I did not know how to crochet. Sooo I looked up how to do it, here in this forum, same night, and started out with just a choker in black, and started making a long scarf, for practice. And then I couldn't find how to make a funky ball to make those animals out of - so I have been up ALL night, practicing things and stuff - and one of the things that I made was A GLOVE! Fun. And a flower to put on top of it (with a little bead in the middle that you cannot see coz I suck at taking pictures lol).
Now only things is: I've run out of wool. Hahaha. Hopefully the store I bought it at still has the same wool I used for this glove. Since this was my first project I had no clue how much wool I would need. Alas - I know now!

Here it is anyway:

Hope you liketh! Smiley
4  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / t-shirt and tie bag on: February 03, 2011 01:04:37 PM
Sooo.... I suck at stitching coz I only just started crafting sometime before xmas this year. And I don't have a sewing machine (as of yet). So here's a little bag I made out of two different t-shirts and a tie (I love using ties this way). It's a pressie for a friend from England who'll come visit me tomorrow!! Smiley

I sadly didn't make that owl pin though I wish I had it's just sooooo cute. Smiley

I hope she likes it. Can't wait to see her reaction!!

Thanks for looking. Smiley
5  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / two pillowcase bags :) on: January 27, 2011 07:01:10 AM
well.... I made these a little while ago, but they weren't sturdy enough for all that fits in them, so I lined them inside with some dishtowels.  Grin

I love decorating them with beads and stuff! Smiley

this one's decorated with a plushie I made out of a leftover sock from making sock creatures. Safety Pins, some beads and pins, etc. Smiley

This one has a little creature on it that I found in a Mickey-Mouse mag. some beads, a butterfly pin, other pins, and that peace sign used to be an earring. Wink

I love making bags. I already have WAY too many bags. So the next one that I'm already working on is a gift for a friend. Wink
6  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / gift I made for my best friend on: January 27, 2011 06:40:44 AM
I made this little plushie out of felt and decorated a cig box for its home. the heart on the safety pin I made out of polymer clay. He liked it lots. He didn't mind the cig package either coz he smokes way too much, just like me! Wink

7  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / inchies ... yeah on: January 27, 2011 06:37:19 AM
when i came here and read about inchies i just HAD to make some of my own. They were an awesome way to get me back to drawing. Here are some of my favorites:

The pic quality sucks. I just realized that. Sorry bout that.
Some words are in German coz I live in Austria! Wink

8  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / sock creatures on: January 27, 2011 06:33:35 AM
Since I found this board I've been trying out all kinds of different things. Here are some sock creatures i made. They're not very "professional" yet because I only just started making them.... but here they are anyway:

for a friend of mine who will come and visit me in a week from now! woo! Smiley

there's a little fingerless-glove creature there too!

these two were the first ones I made Smiley
