11  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Going Green in 10mins on: January 10, 2011 02:13:52 AM
I was a little bored this morning so I thought I would keep my hands busy. It's a little rough around the edges, but I quite like the contrast of green shades. Not too bad for 10 minutes work even if it is simple!

12  NEWS AND DISCUSSION ABOUT CRAFTSTER / Introduce Yourself / London Calling... on: January 04, 2011 01:30:28 AM
Good morning and a belated Happy New Year to one and all.

Yes new and fresh off the apple cart.

Every year I start with the intention of up keeping some resolution or other, however I have promised myself that this year will be different. Last February I sat at home and thought about leaving my '9 to 5' job. I toyed with opening a market stall selling my home made jewellery and jewellery boxes. But my local markets all said no because they were so full of jewellery sellers. Being an avid craft artist though I shall not let that get me down. I have been looking at setting up a blog, or website and not only sell the likes of jewellery but a hundred and one other little things I love to dabble with. From crocheted critters, seasonal decorations and wedding decorations. A little random perhaps, but people keep saying just sell and create what you love.

A book a recently purchased sent me to my desk top to look up this website. I can say that it is just a maze of inspiration. Whilst I might not yet have my own pages set up, or a company name I am yet happy with (as the old one just doesn't fit anymore), I have spent a number of days running down posts and reading all manner of things here before signing up. I just love this community.

I can't wait to read up on more projects that people have done. Hopefully show a few of mine. Just get this new years and a new line of thinking off to a really good start.

Happy crafting everyone!!!
