Beautiful! Wish I had the time, talent, and motivation to make something half that good before the Browncoats' Ball this year!
2  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Re: Kaylee's "Shindig" Dress- Firefly on: January 24, 2011 06:32:48 PM
I am supremely jealous of your costuming skills! It's an absolutely gorgeous rendition of her dress--great job!

Brilliant! Although I more of a fan of the new series of Doctor Who, I love that you managed to combine sci-fi and sock monkeys! Smiley

Love your take on steampunk! I wasn't all that keen on the gears and goggles theme for my potential upcoming costume requirement--thank you for your insight into potential ways around the cliched gears and gadgets!
6  HOME SWEET HOME / Pet-Related Crafts: Completed Projects / Re: Cupcake With Cat Filling! on: January 24, 2011 06:01:33 PM
My cat is giving me dirty looks regarding the gorgeousness of your cat hut vs. the still unfinished cat tree project sitting in my basement.
7  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: My first hats! Jayne, the hats they call Jayne! on: January 24, 2011 05:56:01 PM
Beautiful hats! Much softer looking than my 100% wool versions I made Smiley
8  FIBER ARTS / Felting: Completed Projects / Re: Needle felted Adipose on: January 24, 2011 05:53:13 PM
I had made a felted Adipose for a friend's birthday much like yours and it was a true hit! They are very similar--but yours looks much more cuddly than mine Smiley Great job!
9  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Re: felt Ironside Dalek stuffie on: January 24, 2011 05:48:34 PM
Love it! It's amazing how few felted Daleks there are on the web--yours comes up on a google search, though! I love that you changed it up a bit from canon Dr. Who Smiley
10  CLOTHING / Costumes: Completed Projects / Re: Steampunk Madame on: January 24, 2011 05:45:37 PM
Gorgeous! I've been googling steampunk costume designs (as I have less than 2 weeks to put one together from scratch) and you've given me some ideas on how I can tweak an old prom dress of mine. Wish I had the time, inclination to make something as fantastic as yours!
