22  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Completed Projects / Stamped Lace With Polka Dots Nails on: November 25, 2011 08:24:15 PM
I realized once you own a set of nail stamping kit, you are gonna love creating new nail style rather than going to the salon. It is way more fun to design something that matches your style without spending a ton of money and time. I am a true lover of this invention and i think it is defiantly worth the investment.

I choose a thicker lace design so it is pretty outstanding since it take up a lot of space. If you only have the thin lace, you might want to double that up to achieve the result. After the lace is on, I added polka dot only to one side of the nail. ( I guess you can fill up the rest of the space but i didnt want to over do it, might try that next time).

For the thumb I did a barbie girl print with big polka dot bow on top to match the rest of my nail style. I love this girl print because there is no way that I can draw this, especially on my right hand. But look how easy and useful my stamping tools are in this situation. Money well spent!

23  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Completed Projects / Lines Design Nail Art on: November 06, 2011 07:33:52 PM
A combination of lines in different colors, angles and directions can be super creative. Since I have so many ideas for line nail designs, I will draw different ones on each nail. A mix of gold and silver tip painter will be my primary choice for this pattern. You can also use a thin nail brush if you couldnt find the color you like in the tip painter nail polish.

24  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Completed Projects / Nail Art Sticker Creation on: October 16, 2011 09:36:53 AM
I am sure you all heard or know about the super easy nail art stick that creates perfectly professional result. Today Im going to show you a tutorial about how to use them to achieve an elegant set of nails and what you should be aware of during or after the creation process.

The purpose of this tutorial is to share my personal experience about using nail sticker in nail design. This product is for lazy artists (like me) and also beginners. With the help of this genies product, we can now all do complicated design in literally minutes. Like this tutorial took only 5 minutes to complete and it cost less than a dollar for the sticker set.

You can easily purchase these nail art stickers in department store, make up shops and even drug store or supermarkets make up sections. Like a lot of tattoo sticker, they come in a great amount of selection in designs and styles. The cost for a set of stickers can range from $1-5. Definitely a much affordable choice compare to getting a basic manicure in a cheap nail salon.

25  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Completed Projects / Punk Leopard Print Nail Art on: September 11, 2011 07:37:42 AM
I am going to introduce a simple but adorable nail design that uses the nail stamping system I purchased online. This is probably the easiest but professional result that any beginner can achieve at home within 15 minutes. No drawing skill will be necessary at all so even kids can do it.

The only few tools we need for these 3 nail designs are base coat, top coat, nail polish & remover, nail stamp, scraper and design plates.

Using only 1 image to create this fun and bold style nails within seconds and it is ready to go. The punk style leopard print design creates a wild look. It is perfect for rock concert or the days that you just want to be a little different. Trust me, you will totally fall in love with this design.

Using 2 images from 2 different nail plates. We can easily create this tasteful and professional looking style nails within minutes. The lace trim around the edge is really the selling point for me. It is fancy and matches the gold base color scheme. This set of nails is perfect for weddings or just a normal day in the office.

Using 1 nail plates and its 7 images to create a set of young, colorful and sweet style nails. I am totally in love with the girls head image especially, that is why I named this the Pink Barbie design. I think this style is great for girly girls on a special occasion or a romantic date.

My post entry link: http://www.diyfashiondiva.com/fashion/beach-dress-re-design

Time to re-design/ re-purpose some of my old wardrobe. Old and out-dated clothes can use some update and re-design every once in a while. Changing the look of an old dress is not a very complicated task. I think we should all try to save our old clothes before buying new ones.

30  CLOTHING / Shoes: Completed Projects / Japanese Princess Style Flower High Heels Tutorial on: July 30, 2011 11:19:26 PM
My post entry link: http://www.diyfashiondiva.com/fashion/princess-style-flower-high-heels-tutorial

Flower high heels are very popular in Japanese pop culture in the last couple years and the trend doesnt seem like is dying down at all. Making these floral accessories has become one of my favorite thing to do since I started DIY. About 15 minutes of your time and a hot glue gun can totally change your wardrobe from casual to fancy.

My tutorial will show you how to re-purpose your old heels and add some new flavor with minimum cost and tools. All you really need is a pair of shoe or heels, some plastic flower and a hot glue gun. This is a beginners level project so no other skills or tools are needed. Just 15 minutes of your time and about a 10 dollars budget, you will be able to make yourself a lovely pair of kawaii princess high heels. Compare to the prices in store, this lesson can save you more than $40 (USD).
