2  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Re: D&D Swap Round 2 on: February 07, 2012 09:59:21 AM
The sign up thread seems to have disappeared. Is it just me or has it gone? I'd guess that sign-ups are only allowed to be open for so long and since it was moved back a month it will have to wait to be posted again?

Baldur's Gate was awesome. I love Minsc and Boo. the talking sword lilarcor was a lot of fun too. In one of the D&D campaigns I'm playing I've made my character Minsc's son, Named him Baldric, and he has a miniature giant space hamster called Eeeeeek!

Neverwinter Nights was awesome too. I loved having Deekin the Kobold companion.

I sent in my questionaire. I've been playing D&D for a few years now with hubby and a couple of friends. Before that I enjoyed computer fantasy RPG's based on D&D rules such as Baldur's Gate.

I recognise the characters in your cross stitch nautilus, that Order of the Stick! Such a fun webcomic Smiley Have you read any weregeek? it's fun too but nto always about D&D
4  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: By Kids for Kids Holiday Swap Gallery! on: December 31, 2011 01:16:38 PM
thanks for setting up the swap, Crafty!

it was rather complicated keeping track of. I wouldn't object to organizing again as long as I had a co-org to help out next time around. Smiley

Feedback has been given! (Except for myself and two swappers that I'm waiting to hear from)  Sorry it's taken so long the Holidays just took over for a while.

Happy New Year!

I've updated everyone's colors in the gallery. Let me know if I've missed anything!
7  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: Beatles Sundress out of a handful of T-shirts (now w/ tut) on: November 30, 2011 09:12:32 AM
Adorbs!  Did you use a sewing machine for it?  I tend to get frustrated using a sewing machine with t-shirt fabric...any tips?!?

use a slight zig zag stitch to allow the fabric to stretch. I learned this the hard way once and had to re-do a project.

Thomas has the ornament and card done. Now we just need to work on a craft.

Organiser's Note

Send outs are Saturday!

I've sent messages out to everyone who hasn't already sent. Please respond to the message so that I know everyone is alive, crafting, and planning to send.

Thanks!

We have the ornament nearly done. Thomas really loves looking at the christmas decorations at the stores. I'd really rather not think about it much till after Thanksgiving though.   I see us crafting up a storm on Friday!
