Here is my awesome package from zephyr. The words are parts of catch phrases from Dr Who, I like peacocks, and the three clay bits are from a game called Portal which my hubby loves. He has taken the to work where he is surrounded by other geeks and gets lots of comments on the magnets.






The other great set of magnets I received are from dontdresslikeapril. My favorite is the drawing of a shadow vessel in hyper space (it's from the oldish tv series Babylon 5) My sons' favorite magnet is the one with the Tardis. I think that the triangle with yellow and green stripes and a brown star is a reference to the browncoats of firefly..

here are the inchies from tree27. the hidden secret is a bird nest and when lifted up there is a bird. and the two sided inchie has a silver circle on the back that says wish which is pretty cutre when combined with the star on hte other side.

Here are the inchies from Mrs.LindsayLoo. I love these little handdrawn inchies and atc. It's awesome that she took the time to draw and color them. There were originally 10 but when I had them in the card and pulled it out one disappeared. I tried finding it but I guess it was feeling a bit shy and also too good at hiding. I feel really awful that one went missing before I got a photo.






Here are the inchies and ATC from nilmerg. She chose my England theme and added in commentary for each inchie. I love how personal these inchies are.








And hre are the inchies and ATC from smmarrt. I love the combination of themes that she chose. My fave inchie is the amuzing/tongue in cheek going green tip to 'shower with a friend'  Smmarrt also through in a few extra bits of paper which I'm eager to find a use for.

I received a wonderful package from my partner Minusxl3lindfold last week. I'm sorry it's taken so long for me to get pics up of the really cool stuff she made me.

Here's a pic of everything all together. in the three small bags from left to right is: bottle caps and epoxy stickers ready to decorate, loads and loads of circles just right for bottle caps and a few inchie backgrounds, and the last bag has a lot of tiny hand molded/carved clay items.

Here is a close up of all the adorable tiny clay items. My favorite is the chocolate dipped strawberries and mini bars of chocolate. The mushrooms have pins in the bottom so that they can be placed in the garden for fairies to sit on. The little slices of cake are really amazingly made I've no idea how she got the texture in the side of them

This is only the second bit of clothing that I've made without a pattern. I found a sheet at a thrift store for 60cents that had a cream background with green butterflies and leaves on it. I love green and butterflies so knew that it was perfect material for me to play with. I also found a coordinating green tank top to use as the waistband. I found a tutorial on here somewhere for making a double handkerchief skirt and followed hte instructions for that. I traced the top of a dress that I have that I liked the neckline of and altered that to suit. The hem of both skirts was about 12 yards which took hours to hem by hand. Well worth it though. I'm quite pleased with how it turned out.

I wanted to try my hand at recronstructed clothing. I've made a lot of things with bought patterns before but I've never worked without one before. This is my first attempt. I was inspired by this reconstruction tutorial but added a couple twists of my own. http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=98837.0

I used 12 panels and 4 different t-shirts for the skirt part, on tank top for the waist band, and another tank top for the top. I'm pleased with how comfortable it is. I wonder though what I could have done differently to make the dress flatter my figure better or add a bit of extra oomph.

I recieved my package from saratera yesterday.

Here are some cute plant markers. The watering cans have wire coming out the bottom to hold them in place. I decided I liked the look of them fully pushed in so they are resting on the ground.






Here's a front and back pic of a little gnome home. IT's super cute and I'm sure the garden gnomes will be fighting over this little home.

I received my matchbox from Snazzlecraft yesterday. prepare for more swap envy. It's awesome. I love it.

She decided to go with a garden them and made the little flowers that you see on it. I can't imagine cutting tissue paper that small. Here's a pick of the box sat on a rock in my garden. Snazzlecraft said that she had seen in my profile about starting my garden and decided to craft the matchbox as if it were lifted out of a garden thus the brown around hte edges and cork underneath.

I received an awesome package from r0ckwithme yesterday. I love it when swap packages arrive in the mail. It always makes my day. without further ado here are the gushes and pics.

Here's a pic of everything before being unpacked. Some of the bits would've been in the coin purse but to fit in the small flatrate shipping box had to be emptied out.




Here's a pic of everything all spread out (a couple of plastic animals were snatched by my little ones and didn't make it to this second pic) There were a ton of little hair clips, bracelets, rings, platic animals googly eyes, buttons, charms, gaming bits and all sorts of other lovely little bits and bobs.





Here's a close up of the handmade items. They were carefuly packed in the super cool decorated box. The awesomest hands down is the small Falcor the Luck Dragon. I adore the Neverending Story. My son wanted Falcor but he's mine! There is also a friendship bracelet style of Auryn (also from neverending story) And 4 stitch markers for knitting/crochet which were on my wists. It's a very clever use of earring hooks and hair clips.





Here's a close up of a few of my fave noncrafted items. Everything was cool and will either be crafted with or used to distract my little ones so that I can craft.  I love googly eyes, everything is more amuzing when you put googly eyes on it. I also love butterflies(go figure) and the charms are awesome.
